Archippa smiled pleasantly as she smoothed the satin bustier once again. At last, the mantle was hers...Granted, the queen hadn't bestowed it on her, but that was a mere formality. After all, she had been the runner up in the contest, and she was certain the victor had been aided in her victory. Archippa crossed the floor of the cellar, where her victim stood, the chains on her bracelets jingling as a sign of her forced surrender.
"Archippa," began Curia.
"Silence!" Archippa's lip curled at the weakling's new state. "Your costume is a perfect fit, and with your tiara on my head, your accidental reign as Wonder Woman is over. The right is MINE, do you hear?"
"What will become of me?" asked Curia.
"You really don't want to know," said Archippa, with a sneer. "Now, Curia, your tiara if you please?"
