Chapter 30.5: Chronicles of Heartfelt City

Post by rufusluciusivan »

No, no, I assure you it's not a misclick.(And a huge coincidence that this is posted the same day as another update.) More like a little experience I wanted to try, something akin to a little collaborative story. Don't know if I'll do it again or if it's a one-time thing, but here it is. I really enjoyed my first venture in writing Trackman's characters, and I had the inspiration to give it another try. Since it only features his characters as main characters, I figured out it would be best to post it on his section of the board. This story is, of course, posted with Trackman's permission.

Just a few heads up:
1 ) As the title (not) subtly hints, these events happen between the ones of Chapter 30 and of the upcoming Chapter 31.
2 ) While it's not mandatory to understand the story, it's best to read this one after "Protecting one's lifestyle" on my section, as the antagonist of this part is a returning character from this story. Her backstory is being reminded here and you won't miss anything but a few references, so it's not mandatory either.

I thank of course once again Trackman for allowing me to write a story featuring his characters. I also thank him for all his advices, and for having written a part of the story for me.

Chapter 30.5: Chronicles of Heartfelt City

**************

The building used to be a big warehouse. However, now only ashes and burnt rumbles remained.

Tina, Mag and Angel were watching the torched ruins from afar.

“I heard the infiltrators and their accomplices were trapped inside and burnt alive...” Angel somberly commented.

“Well, I'm not going to pretend that these specific people are a great loss. You know, with them being human traffickers. But still, no one deserves to die like that. Plus, they were still infiltrators. It means that others might be in danger. Like Blink. Or like us.” Tina answered.

“Do you truly think it concerns us? I heard that a foreign mob boss is currently waging war against the human trafficking rings outside of her home country...” Mag remarked. “What was her name again? ‘Carmen’? ‘Carnela’? ‘Carmela’?”

Tina shook her head. “I heard about her too, but no it’s not her. Her men are more subtle. They would grab their targets, put a bullet in their neck, and throw the bodies in the middle of the sea. They wouldn't use something as unsubtle as fire, and they certainly wouldn’t destroy the entire building as well. Good hiding spots like this warehouse are rare, and they are not wasteful.”

“So... The Phantoms may be responsible?” Mag asked.

“Maybe... But at the same time... I don't know. Brutality is their trademark when dealing with infiltrators, but this work seems a little too sloppy... too unmethodical for them. Plus, there's another thing that's not adding up.”

“What?”

“The police isn't as reactive as it should be. As if some of its members are actively hampering the efforts of the investigation from the inside. The authorities wouldn't react that way if it was the Phantoms. But we know another suspect...”

Tina looked at her sisters, then added:

“... There's another person who hates us infiltrators with a passion. Another person who has followers in the police forces.”

“Sarah Sandy Summers.” Mag understood.

She winced.

Among infiltrators, Sarah Summers was a unrenowned threat: Few people were actually aware of her existence as of now. Former receptionist and young mother, she was the victim of a uniform stealing five years ago. Her mugger left her in an airtight closet, in which she almost suffocated to death. The incident traumatized her forever. Four years ago, she vanished from the face of the Earth, without any warning, leaving behind her husband and her infant daughter. She resurfaced recently under the identity of ‘the Leader’. Several support groups of former victims of infiltrators had fallen under her influence, and she was using them to fight off infiltrators. Now, in other circumstances, Sarah may have been a vigilante on the side of the Law. However, years of stewing in her anger and thirst of revenge had turned her into a bitter hate-filled brutal woman, who was just as criminal as the people she fought against, sometimes even more. She wasn’t capturing the infiltrators to give them to the police, she was killing them. Towards her followers, she wasn’t acting as a fair responsible chief. She was a cult leader, instilling blind hatred in the minds of her followers. And more importantly, she didn’t hesitate to go after the innocent loved ones of the infiltrators to affect them. There was no low she wouldn’t sink if it meant hurting an infiltrator...

As a threat, Sarah was far from the level of the Phantoms, but she made up for her lack of subtlety and organization with a relentless brutality and a disregard for all morals.

“I thought Sarah was in prison.” Angel commented.

“I wouldn't be surprised that a few wardens are on her side as well. She has supporters among all the uniformed women. A prison break shouldn't be too hard to pull of...”

“Kinda ironic that she's just as hard to keep behind bars as a real infiltrator...”

Tina shook her head and looked once more at the burned remains. “This work has her fingerprints all over it. It has her brutality and her burning hatred of infiltrators, but also the sloppiness of someone's who's not as professional as the Phantoms.”

Tina talked in the tiny microphone on her collar.

“Tinker. I want you to comb through any latest police report you can find and to call all your contacts. If Sarah's in town, we need to know.”

“Got it.”

“Why would she come here?” Angel asked.

“It's obvious: Heartfelt City is a hub for infiltrators. Sarah wants to eliminate them at the source.”

“She started with ones that had ties with human traffickers, to paint herself as a vigilante and rally more people to her cause…” Mag understood.

“Exactly. And now she’s going to take on the other infiltrators.” Angel concluded.

“We have to stop her.” Tina said. “You remember her picture board. She won’t hesitate to go after our friends or Blink’s family to affect us...”

**************

Tina, Mag, and Angel regrouped around Tinker in their apartment.

Stasis was eating a giant sub. Soph was practicing her moves on a punching bag. BB was reading a book. Marie was playing some western-themed infiltration videogame while imposing to herself a no-casualty home rule.

Libido was watching an anime telling the story of two female agents fighting against an all-female army dressed in fanservicy uniforms. She claimed to be watching it for the ‘surprisingly sci-fi complex plot’, but it was clear that she was more interested in the abundant panty shots, and the choreographed fights and use of sleeping darts that were often leaving the goonettes in… ‘interesting’ positions.

Tinker was sitting behind her computer.

“Your intuition was right, Tina. Sarah IS here.” she said.

“You found something in the police reports?”

“Not exactly…” Tinker hesitated, looked at Tina, but then added: “Simon Summers, Sarah’s husband, is an IT specialist. He created a website to look for her. People are invited to post any information they can find about her whereabouts. The most recent post mentions that she’s been seen here, in Heartfelt City. I think we may have found one reason why Sarah moves so often and wears a mask half-the-time. She’s trying to escape her family’s attention…”

She showed them the website.

Tina was now understanding why Tinker hesitated. Her sister knew how stories related to family, especially when it involved couples, could hit her hard. She sighed. The biggest tragedy of Sarah’s spiraling descent into criminality was that it left behind a husband and a daughter who, even four years later, still hadn’t moved on. However, Tina reminded herself to not forget that, the last time she tried to sympathize with Sarah, the latter used her moment of distraction to surprise-attack her...

Tina looked at the website. There were pictures of Sarah, and even a few videos to allow people to hear her voice. Reflexively, she couldn’t help but play one that was filmed shortly before Sarah’s mugging.

So I was thinking that we should move to the country... Sarah was saying

Move to the country? Why? Simon asked.

I don’t want Carrie to spend all her childhood in a big polluted city. I want her to be able to play, to be able to run everywhere without risking being run over by a car! We’ll have our own house, with a huge garden! And a dog too! No, two dogs. Two big friendly dogs.

Tina stopped the video and sighed. It was hard to believe that the smiling red-haired woman of the video would become a hard-faced psychotic cult leader.

Mag put a hand on her shoulder. “So we know she’s around. Do we have an idea of where she’s hiding?” she asked Tinker.

“Not yet. But I have a lead. I think the mayor and Sarah may be in cahoots somehow.”

“That guy is so corrupt, I wouldn’t put it past him…” Tina commented. “But why would he do it? And how?”

“I wouldn’t say that they have a true partnership.” Tinker explained. “More like that he looks the other way because Sarah’s crusade is convenient to him. The mayor is wary of us infiltrators, especially after all the incidents with his daughter. He fears that we may one day be hired to uncover all his dark secrets. I think he’s indirectly helping her.”

“So you think that the best way to find information about Sarah is to search the municipality’s folders?” Tina asked.

“Not the paper files, sis’.” Tinker corrected her with a smile. “The database. I need to have access to the database of the municipality.” She hesitated. “Now, it pains me to admit it, but I’m afraid to hack them directly. I think that they may notice even MY intervention.”

“Tells something about the mayor’s paranoia. He REALLY doesn’t want people to find about his dirty laundry…” Tina commented.

“But luckily, I have found a plan.” Tinker added.

From the table, between two bites on her sub, Stasis loudly cleared her throat.

Tinker sighed. “Fine… STASIS found a plan.”

“I’m not sure I want to hear the details…” Tina commented.

“Well, you’re WRONG! ‘Cause it’s gonna be AWESOME!”

**************

Once again, the mayor’s daughter was up to her usual tricks. This time, she had convinced her father to invite a famous shoe designer called Gabrielle Lensahc to the town hall to have a lunch with her. Though the move wasn’t as callous as, say, using the money of a hospital to pay for a new pair of shoes, it was still a clear evidence of her self-entitled selfishness. Indeed, she was using public money and rooms normally reserved for official dinners.

Of course, the short-sighted daddy’s girl didn’t take into account the fact that a few infiltrators might be tempted to take the place of Gabrielle and her bodyguard in order to have a direct access to the private parts of the town hall.

Speaking of which…

In an underground parking, BB and Stasis were waiting hidden behind a car.

Stasis was humming to herself the music of a spy movie.

“Remind me again why you’re the one doing the mission with me?” BB asked Stasis.

Thanks to a few pictures of Gabrielle, they knew that her bodyguard was a tall athletic woman, hence why BB had to be part of the mission. However, the shoe designer herself was of average build and height. Any sister would have been able to fill in for her.

“Because I’m the only one who can imitate Gabrielle’s funny foreign accent!” Stasis explained with a bright smile.

BB rolled her eyes. “Of course…” she ironically commented. “Say, did you bring your pen to ask her for an autograph?” she added with a teasing smile. Just like all the sisters, the tall clone was aware of Stasis’ love for anything related to footwear.

Stasis’ cheeks went slightly pink. “Come on BB! Be serious one minute!” She hid her pen in the bottom of her purse.

Thankfully, a distraction came by.

“Look!Here they come!”

Gabrielle Lensahc was staying at a hotel of Heartfelt City the time to organize a fashion show in the town.

While she was a public personality, she was not well-known to the general public. (Outside of shoes enthusiasts, of course.) Therefore, she didn’t need a big security detail.

It meant that her personal car was parked in the underground parking of the hotel and she only had one bodyguard following her.

Now, those underground parkings were tricky places. The kind of places where infiltrators strove. Perfect to set up an ambush and usually empty. Unfortunately for her, Gabrielle didn’t know that. She wasn’t a native of Heartfelt City.

Gabrielle Lensahc was a renowned clothes designer, though she was mostly famous for her shoe and boot designs. She was a woman of average size and build in her early thirties, with a light skin and hazel brown eyes. Her hair were naturally light brown, but they were entirely dyed silver grey to give her a refined style. They were tied into a crown-braid and a fashionably ‘messy’ highlighted angular low-bun.

The designer was dressed in a gorgeous open front dress with pants. Indeed, her short-sleeved dress was ankle-long, but the front of the bottom half was completely open. The dress was silvery grey, with gold threads as well as a black collar and black shoulders. The bottom of the dress was peacock blue with gold specks and designed to look like feathers. The back of her dress was adorned with half-a-dozen of long (imitation) green, light blue and blue peacock feathers. Since nothing was covering the front part of her lower-body, Gabrielle was wearing black trousers and black boots. There were light blue earrings on her ears and a gold choker around her neck. On her head, she was wearing a silvery grey wide-brimmed hat adorned with a white ribbon and three small (imitation) peacock feathers. Her hands and forearms were covered with elbow-long silvery grey satin gloves. She was carrying a black purse.

Her bodyguard was a tall woman with long limbs in her early thirties called Victoire. She had a slim athletic-looking but still curvy body, light blond hair, and ocean blue eyes. Her haircut was a neat polished beehive bun. She was also wearing a small black headband.

Victoire’s clothes were elegant and of better quality than the average bodyguard, a given since she was supposed to protect a clothes designer. However, they were still functional. The blonde was wearing comfortable but thick black shoes, classy black bodyguard trousers designed to stretch and not hinder her movements, a crisp white shirt and a black ‘bodyguard business jacket’ as well as a black tie. All in all, Victoire was rocking the whole ‘bodyguard-look’. While the blonde's way of walking clearly showed that she was trained in hand-to-hand combat, Stasis wouldn’t have been surprised to learn that she had been at least partly chosen because of her good looks. Onto her belt was strapped a small handgun.

“Je n’arrive pas à croire que je sois tombée aussi bas!” Gabrielle was saying while she and her bodyguard were entering the underground parking. “Tenir compagnie à cette petite garce, cette gamine pourrie-gâtée… J’aurais dû trouver une excuse pour annuler! N’importe laquelle!”

“Ce n’est qu’un mauvais moment à passer.” Victoire answered while opening the way. Her gaze was more vigilant than the average bodyguard, and the two sisters had to duck behind their cover to prevent her from noticing them.

“Et le toupet de son père! Me menacer d’utiliser son poste pour saboter mon prochain défilé à Heartfelt City si je refuse de venir! Il ne perd rien pour attendre! Je trouverai bien un moyen de lui faire payer cette humiliation...”

Gabrielle and Victoire however didn’t know that they were currently being watched.

Hidden behind a few cars, Stasis and BB were silently approaching the two women.

“What did they say?” BB asked her sister.

Stasis bit her lower lip. “Well… uh… They talked about shoes, and baguettes and wine and croissants and all sorts of delicious food…”

BB sent her a meaningful look. “Admit it. You don’t actually speak French, do you?”

“I said I can IMITATE their accent, not that I speak the language!” Stasis protested. “Besides, do YOU understand what they’re saying?”

BB smiled. She was looking a little smug even. “Of course. Told you you should read more books.” she teased her sister.

“What did they say?” Stasis couldn’t help but ask.

“I’m not telling you!”

“Now, that’s just low! Hopefully there’ll be an author’s note somewhere…

“Stop mumbling to yourself. They’re about to enter their car. The coast is clear. I take out the bodyguard, you deal with Gabrielle.”

Stasis beamed, her spirit lifted once more. “Now, that’s what I’m talking about!” But how am I going to get my autograph?

**************

Victoire used her keys to unlock the black car with tinted windows. While it wasn’t exactly a limo, the vehicle was designed to look like a small limo.

The bodyguard heard Gabrielle open the door of the backseats at the opposite side of the car and start to rummage through the seats.

The blonde grabbed the handle of the driver’s door.

BB struck at that exact moment, while Victoire was distracted and slightly bent forward, thus in a disadvantageous position.

She wrapped one arm around Victoire’s throat and neck, and clamped her other hand over her mouth.

“Gruumfff?!” the blonde grunted.

The second she realized she was being mugged with her head trapped inside a choke-hold, Victoire reacted with cool-headed professionalism. She didn’t reflexively grab the arm choking her to try to loosen it, which was most people’s mistake. She violently moved her head backwards to see if she could headbutt her foe, and used all her strength to attempt to slam her mugger’s body against the car parked next to hers.

“Mffffff! Mhhh! Mhhhh!!! Gmmhhh!” she moaned during her efforts.

Unfortunately for Victoire, her opponent was BB. A tall trained arse-kicking machine who knew all the tricks that the bodyguard could try. BB had positioned herself to make sure she wouldn’t be hit in the face by Victoire’s headbutts, and she was standing firm, in a position that was preventing the bodyguard from unbalancing her. Plus, she had assaulted her target while the latter was in a disadventageous position. Her choke-hold didn’t loosen, and Victoire’s efforts were forcing the bodyguard to use all her precious oxygen supply.

The blonde was frantically trying to grab her handgun. However, unfortunately for, just like all trained gun user respectful of the rules, her holster was strapped and the safety was on when she was walking in a public area. It made her lose precious seconds Victoire actually managed to grab the gun, but BB noticed her in time.

By that point, the tall clone didn’t need the handgag anymore: her chokehold was enough to silence her victim. She grabbed Victoire’s hand and forced her to drop the gun.

“Gah… Ghhhh… Ghhhh...”

Victoire’s struggles weakened. Her brain wasn’t anymore supplied with enough oxygen. She was feeling woozy.

The blond bodyguard’s eyelids flickered. She let out a few more muffled grunts. Victoire jerked one last time, she made a ‘Urf…”, then her body gave up. The lack of oxygen made her passed out slumped into BB’s arms.

The latter caught her breath. Phew! Not bad at all! Victoire, you may not have lived up to your name, but your certainly put up a good fight! And for that you have my respect. Usually, even the security guards she came across were puny women whom she could knock out with one arm...

**************

Unaware of the predicament of her bodyguard, Gabrielle was bending forward to grab something on the backseat of her car. Now of course, it would only take her a few seconds to realize that something was wrong.

But it would be a few seconds too many…

Stasis was standing a few feet behind the shoe designer. And while she was appreciating the opportunity of seeing Gabrielle Lensahc’s ‘derrière’ from that close, she knew that she had to neutralize the woman before she would have the opportunity to call for help.

Wow! I’m actually near Gabrielle Lensahc! the clone internally squeed. Okay, okay, Stasis, don’t panic! Breathe deeply! She’s like any other woman! Just imagine her in her underwear... The thought actually made her snicker internally. Soon, the image wouldn’t be a metaphor anymore...

Stasis needed to make Gabrielle face her if she wanted to use a green ‘knock-out gas’ ball on her. (She certainly wouldn’t want to knock out one of her idols by using brutal force with her black balls! Nor would she make her feel cold with a blue one! Of course, stealing her clothes and impersonating her was okay. After all, imitation was the most sincere form of flattery...) Stasis grabbed a black ball and shot it at Gabrielle’s behind.

The shoe designed yelped and fell on the back seat. Her hat fell from her head. From Gabrielle’s point of view, it was as if someone had just slapped her butt by surprise! Furious, the designer got back up on her feet and turned to face the pervert.

“Qui ose?!” she exclaimed. Her face was red with anger.

Her eyes widened when she saw that her assaulter was a young woman with a slingshot.

There was a short moment of awkward silence.

“I love your shoes! Can I have your autograph?” Stasis bluntly exclaimed.

She saw in Gabrielle’s eyes that the latter was going to scream for help.

Well, so long for my autograph… Alas poor me...

“I am your biggest fan!” Stasis exclaimed as an apology.

Then she shot a green ball at Gabrielle’s face.

The designer coughed and waved her hands to try to clear out the green smoke.

“Qu… Quoi?!” she exclaimed.

Gabrielle staggered a few seconds. Then her eyes rolled back. She let out one long soft moan, and fell asleep.

Stasis rushed to catch the falling woman.

“I can’t believe it… I’m touching her… I’m touching Gabrielle Lensahc... I can’t believe that I’m ACTUALLY touching one of my idols…” she muttered to herself.

“Stasis, hide her in the back of the car and make her bodyguard breathe the sleeping gas of one of your balls, the time for me to drive the van here.” BB intervened.

“Way to ruin my vibe, sis’.” Stasis commented with a little pout.

Still, she complied.

She dropped the snoozing shoe designer face up on the backseats. Gabrielle was therefore lying on her back. Stasis had to push on her legs to get them out of the way. Gabrielle reflexively curled up in her sleep to get a little more comfortable, which Stasis found strangely adorable. Good to know that she's a woman like all the others. She closed the door, just in case a passerby would have the bad idea of walking by.

BB had seated the unconscious Victoire on the driver’s seat. The bodyguard’s head was resting on the headrest of the seat. Stasis grabbed one green ball, held her breath, and cracked it in front of Victoire’s face to make her breathe the gas. The unconscious blond bodyguard moved slightly, moaned and mumbled a little. Then, her body relaxed on the seat as she was falling into a deep sleep.

“Perfect.” Stasis commented after closing the door. She leaned on the car while whistling innocently, waiting for BB. “But now, how am I going to get my autograph?” The thought was obsessing her so much, she didn’t think of a pun to conclude the mugging-for-disguise!

To not look suspicious, the sisters had parked the van in which they were going to conceal their two victims further away in the parking. Tinker rented the vehicle for them online

Now that their victims were out of commission, BB drove the van next to the fake-limo.

She and Stasis quickly loaded Gabrielle and her bodyguard in the back of the van, locked Gabrielle’s car, then BB drove the van to a more isolated corner of the underground parking.

One where they would be able to remove a few articles of clothes without any nosy snoop to investigate the rustles and the slight rocking of the vehicle...

**************

Stasis mentally thanked the designers of Gabrielle’s dress: The material was expensive, but therefore also very resistant. It wasn’t even stretched or creased. Though thank goodness that the peacock’s tail was made of imitation feathers: real ones would probably had been broken.

Still, she was very careful when removing the silver-haired woman’s garments. She started by the easiest parts: removing the gloves, the choker and the earrings, and sliding the black boots and trousers.

“I can’t believe I’m ACTUALLY stealing the clothes of one of my idols to impersonate her…” Stasis muttered to herself. “This is, like, thing number 3 on my list of the stuff I want to do before I die…”

BB unbuttoned Victoire’s black bodyguard jacket. “Aren’t you exaggerating a little? She’s just a shoe designer…”

“Just a shoe designer? Have you actually tried one of her models! If you did, then you would NOT call her a MERE shoe designer. She’s an artist! And a life-saver for all the women out there who want footwears that are beautiful AND comfortable!”

“Fine, fine. No need to get all fired up.” BB said while unbuttoning the bodyguard’s white button up shirt. She pulled off the jacket and the shirt one after the other, letting Victoire fall back down on her back afterwards. Then, she unfastened the bodyguard’s belt, unlaced and removed her shoes, and finally shimmied down her pants.

At the same time, Stasis unbuttoned Gabrielle’s dress, took the woman’s head and shoulders out of the garment, then pulled the dress off.

As underwear, Victoire was wearing plain but comfortable white sports socks, sky blue boyshorts, and a royal blue full-cup t-shirt bra. Gabrielle was clad in a silver grey push up bra with white lace, matching brazilian panties, and satin white socks.

Before binding the two women, Stasis contemplated putting a pen in Gabrielle’s hand to make the unconscious shoe designer sign something, but she realized that it wouldn’t work. Plus, she actually didn’t know how to spell the designer’s last name.

“Alas, Fate is a cruel mistress…” she commented.

Stasis and BB used white synthetic ropes to tie the two women’s limbs. The ropes were actually of top quality, and designed to not hurt the skin while also being sturdy. (They sent Libido in a bondage store to select them.) The sisters bound the two women’s wrists, shoulders, arms below and above the waist, thighs, calves and ankles. They filled each woman’s mouth with a clean rag, then gagged them with black tape.

“I can’t believe I’m ACTUALLY binding and gagging one of my-”

“KNOCK IT OFF STASIS!”

Now that the Gabrielle and Victoire were effectively immobilized and silenced, Stasis grabbed a backpack that Tinker gave her before they left. Her sister made her some contact lenses, as well as some prosthesis to slightly alter her face and allow her to look like Gabrielle. It was not a mask, just prosthesis to stick on her cheeks and chin, therefore she would still be able to emote.

“And to finalize the disguise, for the hair, I have my wig!” Stasis happily exclaimed while pulling out a wig of silvery grey hair styled into a square cut.

“Did you buy it for this occasion or did you always have a wig of silver grey hair on standby?” BB asked.

Stasis evaded the question by searching Gabrielle’s purse. She found a pair of silver-plated sunglasses.

“Now, would you look at that, they’ll be perfect to cover the top part of my face.” She tried them on. “Nice...”

BB didn’t answer directly. “By the way, before we get dressed, we have to use these…”

She grabbed a pair of blankets that were lying in a corner of the vehicle.

“Where did you get these blankets?” Stasis asked while taking a selfie of herself with the wig and the sunglasses.

“Angel gave them to me.”

“Figures…”

They rolled each woman into a blanket, to keep them warm and make sure they wouldn’t be in direct contact with the floor of the vehicle. Outside of their heads which weren’t covered for obvious reasons, it was now as if Gabrielle and Victoire were cocooned from the shoulders to the toes. Stasis and BB removed their street clothes, and put some of them under each woman’s head to allow them to rest on something more comfortable.

With Gabrielle and Victoire ‘tucked in’, so to speak, Stasis and BB got dressed. BB slipped into the bodyguard’s clothes from the shoes to the bodyguard jacket; while Stasis put on Gabrielle’s boots and trousers. Then BB helped Stasis put on the dress. To complete her disguise, Stasis put on the contact lenses, prosthesis, sunglasses, gloves, and earrings. She would also retrieve the wide-brimmed hat that was still in the fake limo.

Stasis took another selfie of herself, with the cocooned woman in the background.

BB glared at her and gave her a fair warning: “If you say you can’t believe you’re ACTUALLY impersonating your idol, I put a sock in your mouth.”

“My lips are sealed.”

The two sisters exited the van and closed its backdoor to conceal the two slumbering women, mentally noting to call the police once they’d be done with their mission.

“Now, my loyal bodyguard… Let’s go visit our generous host…” Stasis commented.

**************

BB stopped the fake-limo in the parking of the town hall.

Two security guards came to greet them. They were actually identical twins, both around 24 years old with a warm ivory skin, blond hair styled into a one–length lob with textured ends look, and emerald green eyes.

BB actually recognized them. They were the unlucky (puny) guards she knocked out during their latest run-in with the mayor’s daughter. Elsa and Ellie. Luckily, the last time she knocked them out from behind, therefore the twins didn’t have a good look on her face. They wouldn’t recognize her.

Playing the part of the stone-face bodyguard, BB exited the vehicle without a word and opened the door for Stasis.

The latter burst out of the vehicle

“Ah! Finally!” she exclaimed with bombast. The fake Gabrielle moved her arms to emphasize her point, adjusted her hat, waved a silver cigarette-holder she found in the car, then looked at the guards. “Bonjour, bonjour, daaaarlings! Zis iz me, Gabrielle. Pleaze announce my arrival to the mayor’z daughter. S’il vous plaît, oui, oui.

Persuaded to be in front of the real Gabrielle, the two security guards (who were themselves fashion enthusiasts) saluted. “Of course, madame!”

Elsa literally ran inside the building.

BB put a hand on Stasis’ shoulder and whispered in her ear through gritted teeth: “What kind of French accent is that?! Gabrielle Lensahc is supposed to be bilingual. What are you doing?!”

“Trust me, I’m a pro at this.” Stasis whispered back. “You think these people want to hear a French woman speak English fluently? Of course not! They want exoticism and a smooth French accent!”

“You don’t sound smooth. You sound stupid.”

“Just giving the people what they want, sis’. Trust me. They’ll eat it up!”

**************

And indeed, they ate it up. Especially the mayor’s daughter, who was completely mesmerized by Stasis’ ‘smooth French’ accent..

“Now daaaarling, zis iz an honneur to meet you, mademoiselle. Oui, oui!” Stasis said while moving her shoulders and waving the silver cigarette holder with one hand. “I heard zat you were a real shoe lover! I must see your collection immediately, oui, oui, oui.”

The 18-years-old mayor’s daughter smiled brightly, delighted at the opportunity to talk about herself. She had a white skin, brown hair with blond highlights, crisp blue eyes and an arrogant look on her face that simply screamed 'I’m better than you!' She was wearing what she considered her 'everyday clothes': a precious night blue neckscarf made of silk, gold earrings adorned with one diamond each, an expensive long-sleeved white blouse with gold threads, a three-coloured red, blue, and green ankle-long skirt adorned with a ruby, an emerald and a sapphire, white tights, and black high-heels adorned with gold plates and diamonds.

“I will show it to you this instant! I just happen to have all the pictures on my phone. Just follow me, we’ll go in a quieter meeting room.”

Stasis put a hand on her cheek. “Oh la vache! It iz very exciting! Ze idea to uze an official building for our meeting!”

The bratty daddy’s girl smiled. “I know right?”

She led them in the corridors of the building. BB was perfect at mimicking the behaviour of a trained bodyguard. Stasis was walking with bombast, waving her arms and moving her legs as if she was some model. Roughly very six steps, she was making a comment peppered with French words such as ‘Oui!’ or ‘Sacrebleu!’.

Stasis and BB also noticed the various security guards.

“I must admit zat the sécurité seemz razer strong…” Stasis commented with her best ‘innocent tone’.

“Yes. We ran into problems with a bunch of infiltrators recently.”

Stasis theatrically put her hand on her cheek. “Oh mon Dieu! Infiltrators? Now, zis soundz very scary! Do you perchance know something about zese DEVILISH FIENDS?!”

She could hear BB whisper: “Don’t overdo it…” in her neck.

The mayor's daughter didn’t notice their exchange. The mere mention of Tina’s team had made her sneer. “A bunch of bimbos who will soon learn how wrong they were to mess with us. My daddy said that he set things into motion to make sure that they wouldn’t bother us again!”

Stasis and BB shared a look.

Tinker’s suspicions were apparently correct…

Time for the big showstopper. Stasis thought to herself.

“Now, I must admit zat all zese talks are making me curious… I am fascinated by men with power, oui, oui. Your fazer is very famous in my home kountry, oui, oui. Perhaps kould you… show us hiz office…”

“It will never work. Nobody’s that gullible.” BB whispered.

And yet, it worked. The mayor’s daughter clearly wasn’t the cream of the crop when it came to intelligence. Plus, the admiration she could head in Stasis’ voice was stroking her ego.

“Well… My dad’s not here for the moment, so I will show it to you. Anything for my guest of honor.”

Stasis emphatically nodded several times while waving her cigarette holder. “Oh, oui! Oh, oui! Merci! Merci!

BB was contemplating grabbing Stasis and using her as a club to knock out the mayor’s daughter, killing two birds with one stone. As a woman who knew about French culture and French literature, witnessing Stasis felt like a torture.

The blond-haired young woman led the way.

“I bet you could just say random words in French and she wouldn’t see the difference…” BB commented with a whisper.

“Remember that she’s probably never read a book in her life… You’re, like, a million times smarter than her. If these people knew what was good for them, they’d choose you as a mayor. Would be a change to have a smart person in charge!” Stasis whispered back.

**************

The mayor’s office was indeed empty for the moment. At the middle of the desk, they saw his computer which, just like all the other computers of the building, was connected to the internal server of the town hall. Now, they only needed to access it...

“Zis looks amazing!” Stasis said. She waved her cigarette holder so hard that she almost threw it across the room.

“Yeah! But not as amazing as my collection of shoes!” the mayor’s daughter commented, as she wanted to bring the spotlight on her again.

Stasis had a hard time hiding her grimace of disgust. With a fake beaming smile and an outrageous accent, she answered: “Zen show it to me! But first, just give me a second.” She turned to face BB. “Victoire, my chérie. Why don’t you go fetch yourself somefing to drink? I don’t fink that I will be targeted by EVIL infiltrators in zis building… Not me at least...”

Now, had the mayor’s daughter been smart, she may have questioned why in the world the FRENCH Gabrielle would have an aside in ENGLISH with her equally-FRENCH bodyguard. However, as mentioned before, the mayor’s daughter favored vanity and outside appearance over actual intelligence.

The blonde didn’t even check that BB was leaving the office room before exiting it with Stasis. In her eyes, a security guard was a mere wage slave, one that was beneath her notice unless she had to give her orders or to yell at her.

“Disgusting moron…” BB muttered to herself.

She sat behind the computer.

Of course, the device was protected by a password. But BB had come prepared… She put a special red USB key in the USB port. Tinker’s little gadget worked its magic and, a few moments later, the password was unlocked. BB removed the USB key and inserted another one, which was blue.

It only took her a few minutes to activate Tinker’s spy software. BB smiled. Nobody would ever be able to find the little spyware, and now Tinker had access to all the database of the municipality’s internal server.

BB removed the USB key and took the time to close the desktop.

Now, to regroup with Stasis… Hopefully, she hasn’t strangled the brat yet.

**************

Stasis was contemplating strangling the bratty daughter.

“And this is the third pair my dad offered me for my eighteenth birthday…” The mayor’s daughter swiped the screen of her expensive gold-plated phone adorned with a few diamonds on the phone shell for good measure. “And he offered me this one the following day…”

BB opened the door of the empty meeting room.

“Ah Victoire! My life-saver!” Stasis exclaimed. “Are you finished?”

BB nodded in silence. She was putting on her gloves.

The mayor’s daughter glared at her. “Excuse me, but we’re in the middle of something and we don’t need the hired help.” she rudely commented.

“Actually, her presence is very necessary for what’s coming up next.” Stasis retorted.

The young brunette with blond highlights frowned. “Gabrielle… What’s with your accent…”

“Well, you see, that’s because...”

Stasis theatrically removed the hat, the wig and the sunglasses.

“Surprise!”

The mayor’s daughter frowned. “Do I know you?”

Stasis realized that she was still wearing the prosthesis and contact lenses. “Oh right… Now, that’s just embarrassing... Way to ruin the effect...Wait a sec!”

Stasis removed the prosthesis and the contact lenses.

“Surprise!” she exclaimed again.

The mayor’s daughter’s eyes widened. “YOU?! Why are you here?!”

“To steal the shoes you’re wearing, obviously! They look expensive.” Stasis retorted with a huge smile. “And your phone. That’s real gold here!”

The mayor’s daughter tried to get up from her chair, but BB immobilized her from behind. She clamped her gloved hand over the bratty young woman’s mouth and nose. The chloroform setting of her gadget was on.

The young socialite flailed her arms, but she was way too puny and weak. She wasn’t even able to faze the tall athletic BB.

“Mhhhh!!! Bmhhhh!”

It was actually a little pathetic.

The bratty young woman’s struggles were short-lived. Soon, she was slumped into her seat, deeply asleep.

With a crafty smile, Stasis removed the woman’s shoes: gorgeous but still comfortable black high-heels, adorned with diamonds and gold. Designed by Gabrielle Lensahc, of course. Stasis also swiped the brat’s gold-plated phone, as well as her wallet for good measure.

“Stealing her shoes, really?” BB commented.

“What? We need a red herring to send them on a wild goose chase. We can’t have them suspect that we planted a spyware in the mayor’s computer… Now, help me strip her.”

“Why?”

“Do we really need a reason?”

“I suppose not.”

“We’ll turn her clothes into makeshift bonds.”

They removed the bratty daddy’s girl’s clothes and tights.

As underwear, the young woman was wearing a golden stick-on bra and a golden pair of t-string panties.

BB and Stasis cut the clothes into makeshift bonds, while also swiping the earrings and the precious gemstones on the skirt. They left their victim seated in her seat. They bound her wrists behind the back of the seat with several makeshift ropes. Then they tied her thighs and her ankles with her tights. They rolled up the night blue silk neckscarf and tied it around the bratty young woman’s mouth as a gag.

“By the way, I heard that the mayor is going to use this meeting room with some business associates.” Stasis commented. “Wish I could be a fly on the wall when they’ll enter the room.” She put back on her prosthesis, sunglasses, wig, and hat. “Let’s go daaaarling. We have to make our grand exit.”

**************

Elsa and Ellie, the blond twin security guards, were still watching the parking of the town hall.

“So, you are leaving already?” Elsa asked.

“Unfortunately, daaaarlings.” Stasis answered, once again giving her all with her performance. “But zere are ozer important buziness I must attend to. Onez zat involve clothes, and food, and frog legz.”

The twin guards shared a look.

“Of course. But before you leave…” Ellie started.

“… Can you sign us an autograph?” Elsa added.

They both held a small notebook.

Stasis blinked. Fate was definitely taunting her.

“Of course, daaaarlings!”

She grabbed a pen.

However, at the same time, Elsa’s walkie-talkie crackled.

“Attention! We have a breach of security! The mayor and his associates entered the meeting room! Somebody stole the boss’ daughter’s shoes and stripped her again!”

The twin sisters saw the pair of shoes in Stasis’ hand, shared one look, then quickly drew their handguns.

“D-Don’t move!” Elsa exclaimed.

“We have guns!” Ellie added.

Both were warily looking at the towering BB.

The tall woman smiled patiently.

Then, suddenly, before any of the twin sisters could react, she grabbed their handguns and yanked them out of their hands.

Elsa and Ellie watched helplessly BB throw away the guns.

“Uhm… We-We are also trained in martial arts!” Elsa said.

“S-Surrender in the name of the law!” her twin sister added.

“Adorable…” BB commented.

She grabbed the two twin sisters by the collar. Elsa and Ellie gulped.

“You’ll have to teach me that disarming move sis’! It’s so cool!” Stasis exclaimed.

BB conked Elsa’s and Ellie’s heads together, knocking them out cold.

“As you wish.”

Stasis beamed while looking at the two security guards. “Great! Now we steal these two’s uniforms, and somehow nobody will be able to find us in the ten-to-twenty minutes it’ll take us to strip and bind them!” she added.

BB gently dropped the two out cold twin sisters on the ground. “Stasis. Get in the car.” she simply commented.

“You’re ruining my vibe, sis’. Again.”

“There they are! Capture them!” a guard suddenly shouted in their back.

“YOU WILL NEVER CATCH US ALIVE, SUCKERS!!!” Stasis shouted at the top of her lungs. “THE SHOES ARE MINE ONCE MORE!”

She jumped inside the car while BB sat behind the wheel.

They drove away like a whirlwind, knowing that soon they would have half of the town’s police after them.

**************

Through Tinker’s mini-camera, Tina watched Stasis and BB flee the building with a slightly dismayed expression.

“Well, I guess that BB and Stasis will be on the run for a few days, the time for everything to settle down…” she dryly commented. “Did it at least work?

“Yes it did.” Tinker answered with a huge smile. “Thanks to our little spyware, I’m able to search the online registers of the municipality... Just give me the time to vandalize their website to insult the mayor’s daughter, and I’ll work on it...”

Tina smiled indulgently. “I’ll come back in twenty minutes...”

“Please, their database may be well-protected, but the security of their website is a joke. It’ll take me five minutes. Ten at the most.”

**************

It actually took Tinker 4 minutes and 59 seconds to vandalize the municipality’s website, but quite more time to find things of interest in the database.

However, her hard work – and Stasis’ and BB’s little side – adventure were eventually rewarded.

“I found a bill for a woman renting a building for a private meeting.” Tinker explained to Tina. “Since she paid them handsomely, the municipality didn’t try to look further. However, I realized that she paid while using a fake name. Plus, I managed to get a glimpse of the e-mail she sent to invite people to the private meeting. They’re all women, and while her phrasing is coded, it’s pretty clear that the reunion will involve infiltrators… She even took the precaution of renting a building that was protected by a small security team.”

“This has Sarah’s fingerprints all over… When does it take place?”

“The next reunion is tomorrow night. But we won’t be able to all go. The place and the security team aren’t as big as the last time. If we’re too many, we won’t be able to be discreet enough. The security guards watching the building are five.”

“Got it. We’ll send a smaller team. Stasis and BB are still on the loose, so it doesn’t leave much people anyway…”

“I suggest you leave Libido here with me.” Tinker said. “She’s in one of her ‘very horny’ phases. It’s best to leave her confined for a while.”

“Then it’s settled, it’s gonna be Soph, Marie, Angel, Mag, and I. With you as our mission control.”

Tinker nodded. “Got it. You’ll also use this in case they are too many.”

She gave Tina a gadget that was roughly the size of a base-ball.

“What’s this?”

“Don’t drop it, unless you want all of us to take a nap for the next couple of hours.” Tinker warned her. “Remember this new government invention? The one that looks like a ball and releases a powerful knock-out gas? Well, I perfected it! I managed to reduce its size to make it more practical. You can actually carry her in a pocket or in your hand. It still releases a fast-acting knock-out gas, but now it’ll also make a blinding light for a few seconds like a light bomb, in order to confuse the enemies even more.”

“Neat! It’ll do great to even the numbers when the fight will break out…”

“Exactly.”

“Now, let’s gather the team.”

******* The following night… *******

The building Sarah rented was a former manor that was sold to the municipality a while ago. Usually, it was used by rich people to host social events, hence why a security team was permanently attached to the building. However, anyone with enough money could rent it.

At the entrance of the estate, there was a smaller building that was used as a guard house to filter cars and entrances. Currently, two security guards were waiting inside.

They were wearing the same uniform: a dark blue cap, a matching dark blue uniform button up long-sleeved shirt over a white light t-shirt, a belt onto which zip-ties, a baton and a handgun were strapped, black trousers, and black thick shoes.

Since the night was very warm, they were keeping all the windows open.

The first security guard, called Esther, was the kind of young women who had some sort of 'cute anime girl' charm to them: a soft white skin, an average height, a round face, light brown hair tied up into a neck-long medium ponytail, a small pointy nose, and chestnut brown eyes. Segmented bangs were framing her face.

Her colleague was a 28-years-old woman called Melody. She had a warm ivory skin, forest green eyes, long black hair which had been styled into a 90’s middle part ponytail look.

Currently, Esther was comfortably sitting on a chair. A pen in one hand and a magazine in the other, she was solving crosswords. Her colleague was standing next to her and was looking over her shoulder.

“How about that one?” Esther asked. “'A person who sneaks into places.' In eleven letters, starts with an I.”

Melody winced. “How about you try another crossword puzzle?”

“Fine by me.” Esther checked another puzzle. “This one looks easier. Listen: 'The action of stealing someone's belongings.' In seven letters, starts with an M.”

“What is this?! 'Irony' magazine?” Melody complained. “As a sentry who was the victim of a MUGGING done by an INFILTRATOR, I find these crosswords offensive!”

“So you DID have the words!” Esther exclaimed. “Wait a second. You were mugged for disguise too?”

“Uhm…”

The two security guards shared an awkward look.

“Anyway!” Melody said to change the uncomfortable subject. “My point is: Crosswords are boring!”

“What?! I can't let you say that! Crosswords are, like, a training of the brain! They're stimulating!”

“Stimulating? Honestly, night shifts are already enough boring as they are... Add your crosswords to the mix, and I could just fall asleep instantly where I stand.”

“Come on! Don't you think you're exaggerating a little?”

thump!

Esther frowned. “Did you hear that?”

Melody didn't answer.

Instead, she yawned, moaned slightly, and fell on Esther's lap.

The brown-haired guard blinked. “Uh... Melody?”

Her colleague was deeply asleep. Reflexively, she mumbled in her sleep and clutched Esther's thighs as if they were a pillow.

Wow... She wasn't joking when she said she could fall asleep instantly... Esther couldn't help but think to herself.

thump!

Esther frowned when she felt something sting her.

What is-

The guard yawned.

Didn't think I was that tired...

She was feeling dizzy. Suddenly, the idea of doing like Melody was very tempting...

I'm just going to close my eyes... for a few seconds... Yep... Just a few seconds... To rest my eyelids...

She dropped her magazine.

Her head fell backwards on the top of her chair's back.

Her body relaxed and slumped into her chair.

Esther was now deeply asleep.

**************

“Well done, Angel. You managed to hit them both, through the window no less...” Tina congratulated her sister. And without any traumatic flashback. she thought to herself.

She was careful to purposefully avoid using the word 'shoot' in her sentence. Angel's PTSD was a nasty thing. Sometimes, a mere word could trigger it...

Her sister smiled and pocketed her modified revolver. She had just shot two sleeping darts.

The sisters approached the snoozing guards.

“Cute...” Tina couldn't help but comment.

Esther indeed had that weird 'cute anime girl' look, and the innocent peaceful face she had while sleeping was actually making her look even cuter. And Melody was still clutching her thighs as if they were a pillow or a teddy bear.

“Tinker said that she slightly changed the formula of my sleeping darts to make their sleep more pleasant...”

Tina mentally took note to thank her geeky sister later. Taking care of Angel's mental well-being was a grueling task, and Tina was happy to can count on all her sisters to help her.

Esther and Melody were indeed looking like they were having a pleasant dream.

“Almost makes me want to try your new darts on me...” Tina joked.

Angel chuckled.

“Alright, let's take their uniforms. Gently.” Tina concluded. “If Sarah's truly our culprit, then she will have done the exact same thing as the last time, and will have hired legitimate security guards to watch the outside of the building. Ones that are unaware of the criminal nature of their boss.”

Angel nodded.

They gently moved the two guards away from one another, which proved to be a little more difficult than expected as the sleeping Melody didn’t want to let go of Esther’s thighs, and swiftly removed their clothes. Angel stripped Esther while Tina stripped Melody. They took off the thick shoes, the black trousers, the belts, the white light t-shirts, the dark blue button up uniform shirts, and the dark blue caps.

Esther was left wearing pink knickers adorned with a pattern of white cute anime kittens, a violet t-shirt bra with a pattern of white flowers, and checkered black-and-white socks. Melody was clad in an ocean blue corset bra with lacy white edges, matching low cut bikini panties, and aqua blue socks.

Since they wouldn't be able to carry their backpack with them once in disguise, Tina and Angel chose to keep the zip-ties they stole alongside with the guards' belts and to use the restraints they brought with them.

The sisters had taken the time to knot rope-handcuffs on their way here, in order to buy time when they'd have to restrain the first guards. They bound Esther's and Melody's wrists behind the back and bound their ankles and their knees.

They used a black ball-gag to silence Esther and a red one to silence Melody. (They raided Libido's 'secret stash' to get these ones.) The rubber balls had holes in them, making breathing through them easier.

Tina and Angel slipped into the still slightly warm uniforms, a proof that they had indeed been quick.

They dragged Esther and Melody in the small back room that served as the guards’ break room. There were a table, a few chairs, a two-place sofa, a little fridge, a small sink, a microwave and a coffee machine, as well as a door leading to a tiny toilet room.

Angel smiled when she noticed the small sofa.

She and Tina laid the two guards on the sofa, in a seated position. Still deeply asleep, Esther and Melody were leaning against each other, peacefully breathing through the nose.

The night was warm, the sisters wouldn’t need to cover them. Tina and Angel simply closed the door to give the two security guards a little privacy, then they exited the guard house.

In the backpack, Angel retrieved the knock-out base-ball that Tinker gave to their team. The pockets of the uniform weren’t wide enough to hold it, but she could conceal it in her hand.

“I hope our sisters are also doing fine…” Angel commented.

“Don’t worry about them. They’re professionals. In fact, they’re probably already in disguise as well.”

Re: Chapter 30.5: Chronicles of Heartfelt City

Post by rufusluciusivan »

Note: This is the second part. Be sure to read the previous post first.

**************

The team watching the building was composed of five guards. Two of them were in the guard house. One was standing in front of the entrance of the main building, where the meeting was taking place. The last two were patrolling around the building. They were wearing the same uniforms as Esther and Melody.

Currently, the two patrolling security guards were discussing.

The first sentry was a woman in her early thirties who was called April. She had auburn hair tied into a crown braid and hazel green eyes. Her light skin was slightly tanned thanks to several afternoons of sunbathing. The second guard was 28 years old and was named Mable. She had a chubby waist and a round face, dark chestnut hair tied into a mid-back-long ponytail, and brown eyes. Segmented bangs were framing her face. Her bangs and the tip of her ponytail were eyed white. Her skin was dark.

“Don’t you find it strange that the clients chose to pay for a building protected by a team of security guards when all they’re doing is a session of LARP?” April asked her colleague.

Mable shrugged. “Not really. Trust me, I’ve seen stranger things. Besides, they said that during their previous session, a bunch of delinquents came to mess their fun. Personally, as long as I’m getting paid, I don’t care about the weird whims of the people renting this building.”

However, as they were busy talking, the two guards didn’t realize that they were being watched from the nearby bushes.

They had made a classic rookie mistake. A good guard in Heartfelt City knew that areas with bushes were a place to always be wary about...

**************

“Steady Marie, they’re coming…” Soph whispered. “I’ll grab the one on the left, she’s closer to me. I can knock her out before they have the time to react. You take care of the other one with your dart-pen.”

“You wouldn’t need to take the risk of being seen during a brawl if you also had a gadget. Soph! When this mission is over, there’s a new gadget that I want to show you!” Tinker said in their earpiece.

“Tink’, you know that I prefer to rely on my fists… People don’t always need gadgets.”

“What? Nonsense!”

Soph smiled. “I’ll show you...”

“Oh really?” Tinker’s voice in the earpiece was now sounding impish.

Soph ignored her. The guards were within reach.

However, before Soph could pounce on April, a robotic-bee stung the woman’s bottom.

“Ouch!” she exclaimed while grabbing her left buttcheek.

“Something wrong?” her colleague asked.

“A damn bug stung me! Through my trousers and my panties! What kind of monstrosity can do that?! It’s… It’s…”

Aprils suddenly staggered while blinking very fast.

“It’s…” she tried to stammer. Her voice was slurry. Feeling woozy, she put a hand on her forehead.

Mable started to panic. “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my GOSH! Are you allergic?! Don’t worry, I’ll call an ambulance! I’ll-”

Marie shot a dart in her neck with her pen to interrupt her panic attack.

The chestnut-haired guard stared at her, with her mouth wide open.

“Don’t worry for your friend.” Marie said to reassure her. “It’s just a sleeping drug.”

Mable blinked very fast. Then her eyes rolled back and she fainted. April blacked out at the same time. The two women fell on top of each other with soft ‘plop!’s. They started to snore lightly.

Soph looked at the guard who was knocked out by Tinker’s bee, then dragged April a little away from her colleague and started to strip her. “Now Tink’, that was just petty…” she commented while unlacing and removing the black shoes.

At the same time, Marie started to strip Mable.

“What? Thanks to me, you can tell Tina that you didn’t use violence to subdue the innocent sentry who’s just doing her job, unaware of the true nature of her client.” Tinker said. They could hear her ‘fake innocent smile’ in her voice. She added: “It will make our sister happy. You want to make her happy, right?”

“Well of course, but-” Soph interrupted herself while she was unbuttoning the dark blue button-up security shirt, realizing that she’d just been had. She couldn’t help but smile. “Got me there!” she admitted. Then she unclipped the belt and shimmied down the trousers.

Marie and Tinker chuckled. Soph did the same, though while also hiding another feeling from them. Indeed, she also wanted to make Tina happy because she still hadn’t completely forgiven herself for the misplaced anger she once fell towards her, after the incident with Kuebiko. Luckily she was able to set her priorities straight and to realize who the real responsible was in time!

“Don’t send too many of your drones and bugs though, Tink’.” Marie was saying while pulling off Mable’s white t-shirt, lifting her upper-body then gently laying it back on the ground in the process. “Sarah’s cult knows about your robotic insects. If they spot one, they’ll sound the alarm.”

“Don’t worry! I’ll let Soph punch out all the mean cultists she can find inside the building!” Tinker joked.

Marie laughed, then inspected the face of the sentry she had knocked out with her dart, and whom she was currently stripping.

“You know, I’m relieved that this one reacted normally when I hit her with your dart. No weird aroused moaning. You should really try to tweak the formula a little…”

“It would be hard. It’s a side-effect of these drugs being designed to be pleasurable in order to avoid causing pain, allergies and bad side-effects to the targets.”

“I guess it proves my point about the fact that gadgets aren’t perfect.” Soph intervened with a sly smile, delighted to have an occasion to tease back her sister.

“Ha! Ha!” Tinker pretended to laugh.

Soph finished to strip her security guard first as she had more experience. April was left wearing a classic plain white full-cup bra, matching thick high-cut control briefs, and light pink socks with white polka dots.

“You know Marie, I wanted to ask you something…” Soph started to say.

“Go ahead.”

“You used to be a soldier. Out of all my sisters, I’ve always thought that you’d be one of the keenest on using your fists… Yet you seem to prefer using Tink’s gadgets. Why?”

Marie thought a little, while continuing to strip the sentry of course. By that point, she was now an accomplished infiltrator, one that could easily carry on a conversation while stealing a guard’s uniform. “It’s precisely because I was a clone soldier that I now prefer to use infiltrators’ gadgets.” she finally answered. “Being with Tina, and everything that happened afterwards, made me realize how narrow-minded I was as a clone soldier. I prefer to leave that part of me in the past.” She finished stripping the guard at the same time she finished her explanation.

Mable was wearing an orange triangle bra, yellow tanga panties, and pink socks.

Soph smiled. “You’re an infiltrator now…”

“Exactly.” Marie said with a nod. “Plus, Tinker is always overjoyed when she gives us new gadgets. It’s her way of showing that she loves us.”

“I know. I’m just teasing her. That’s MY way of showing my affection. She knows I love her, and that I’d punch the lights out of any fool who’d dare threaten her!”

They heard Tinker make a small noise in their earpieces.

Soph smiled. “Oh sis’, getting a little sentimental now?”

“Well… I… Erm... Oh look! Marie’s finished stripping her guard! Better tie these two women up and put on their uniforms!” Tinker exclaimed to change the subject.

Soph and Marie removed their catsuits and cut them into strips. These garments were indeed designed to be used as sturdy makeshift bonds, and they wanted to keep the zip-ties on April’s and Mable’s belts for later. They bound each woman’s wrists behind her back, each woman’s shoulders, and each woman’s ankles and thighs. Finally, they used a loose hog-tie to connect the wrists and the ankles: one that would not force their legs to be raised, but would still restrain their ability to crawl. They shoved a few strips of catsuit into each woman’s mouth and cleave-gagged and blindfolded them with final strips of cloth.

Soph and Marie then quickly slipped into the security uniforms. They finished by adjusting the belts and the dark blue caps.

The two infiltrators concealed April and Mable under the nearby bushes.

“You’d think that, by now, they would have learned to avoid areas with bushes when doing their patrols…” Marie commented.

“Tell them they’re free to do all the lewd things they want under there!” a voice suddenly exclaimed in their earpiece. “I won’t judge them!”

“Libido! Give me back my mike!”

Soph and Marie smiled indulgently and rolled their eyes. Then, they walked away.

After all, they were supposed to ‘patrol’.

**************

The main entrance was watched by one security guard called Dawn. She had black hair, a short pixie cut, brown eyes, a light skin, a square-shaped face, and a body of average size.

Thanks to the disposition of the building, by standing in front of the door, there was no blind spot in her field of vision.

In theory, nobody could approach her – or the main building – without her noticing them.

In theory.

Mag’s cloaking device was a powerful tool in the hands of a trained infiltrator.

It allowed her to walk in the guard’s line of sight without being noticed. Since it was the night, and there only were a few lamps, the invisibility provided by her gadget was flawless. Mag was able to take position in a spot near the building that was out of everyone’s eyesight with the exception of that specific sentry.

Of course, such a powerful tool could only have a huge drawback. Turning invisible needed an obscene amount of energy and the batteries couldn’t allow to stay invisible for long.

By the time Mag could finally take her position, she only had a few seconds of invisibility left.

The clone hurriedly raised her rope wrist-launcher.

She fired just as she was becoming visible again.

Dawn actually frowned. She was taken by surprise by the sudden appearance of a woman wearing a catsuit in the corner of her eye. From her point of view, it was as if Mag had just appeared out of thin air.

Before the security guard could break out of her surprise, the rope wrapped itself around her arms and pinned them to her torso. She was pulled towards Mag.

Dawn let out a high-pitched yelp that would have more suited a cheerleader or a high-schooler rather than a tough trained security guard. All in all, a very unprofessional reaction.

“Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone.” Mag said to the guard when she fell in her waiting arms.

Then she knocked her out with a neck-chop.

**************

Mag dragged the security guard in an area that wasn’t brightly lit at the side of the building. She swiftly stripped the black-haired woman down to her black lacy demi-bra, matching black thong, and red socks. She used the woman’s zip-ties to restrain Dawn’s wrists and ankles, then grabbed a roll of thick black tape she was carrying on her belt. She wrapped several layers of tape around the woman’s legs and shoulders to restrain them. Then she filled the black-haired woman’s mouth with a clean rag and wrapped several layers of tape around her lower face to seal her lips.

Once the woman was secured, Mag dropped her catsuit and put on the security uniform. She dragged by the legs the guard and left Dawn in a part of the area that wasn’t lit at all. She left her catsuit there as well.

Then, she went to stand in front of the door that her target used to be guarding and took her place.

She smiled when she noticed the two women dressed in security uniforms who were patrolling nearby, and winked at them.

Marie and Soph gave her the thumb-up.

Mag’s smile widened when she saw the two women who exited the guard house to go to the main building.

Perfect. Now that the innocent bystanders are out of the way, we can deal with Sarah and her buddies...

**************

The five sisters exchanged smiles when they regrouped. They didn’t need words to tell each other that everything went perfectly. The uniforms they were wearing were enough.

“Now, the difficult part begins… Security guards aren’t supposed to come inside. We’ll have to play a close game if we want to get close enough to Sarah and her goons without them unmasking us.”

However, as they were about to enter, they noticed a few figures approaching the building.

Tina, Angel, Soph, and Marie immediately pretended to be patrolling while Mag resumed her role of the stern sentry watching the door.

The newcomers were women dressed in the unmistakable
black shoes, long hooded white robes with a rope belt tied around the waist, and plain black masquerade masks covering the top half of the face that were the trademark of Sarah’s cult.

The first woman had shoulder-long brown hair, a tanned skin, and green eyes. The second woman had long luscious blond hair, a tall leggy body, a flawless fair white skin, and blue eyes. The third woman had armpit-long braided red hair, green eyes, and a light skin with a few freckles. The fourth woman had a black skin, shoulder-long coarse black hair, and brown eyes.

They approached Mag.

“We are the last ones for the LARP. We’re a little late.” the woman walking in front said.

Mag snickered.

“Is there a problem?” the masked woman added.

“No! No! Not at all! In fact, your timing couldn’t have been more perfect… You’re taking a thorn out of our side.”

Soph and Tina rushed three of the women from behind while Mag grabbed the fourth one by the collar.

A few ‘POW!’, ‘WHAM!”, ‘SMACK!’, ‘OW!’, ‘OUCH!’ and one or two ‘KAPOW!’ followed suit.

As Tinker predicted, Soph was allowed to punch the lights out of some cultists, though she wasn’t the only one doing it...

It didn’t take them long to send the four women to slumberland.

**************

“What made you snicker when she mentioned larping?” Angel asked Mag.

“Well, just the idea that Sarah, the woman who fancies herself as the bane of infiltrators everywhere, covered her secret meeting by pretending it was a Role-Playing session. It just seems… geeky. I can’t decide if it’s hilarious or ingenious.”

“Let’s just hope that we had the right address. Things will become very awkward if not…” Marie commented while looking at the unconscious women.

“We only have four sets of robes.” Tina remarked. “Mag, can you stay here and watch the door? In case they were mistaken when thinking they were the last ones and other women come by?”

“No problem.”

Tina, Soph, Marie, and Angel dragged or carried the four unconscious women to a blind spot behind the main building.

Then, the infiltrators stripped them of their black shoes, black masks, white hooded robes, and of the light grey trousers and tunics that they were wearing underneath.

They noticed during the stripping that each woman was hiding a small handgun under her robe.

“Well, I think it’s a pretty big clue that we’re on the right track… These don’t look like fake guns.” Marie commented.

The brown-haired green-eyed cultist was wearing a hot pink minimizer bra with frilly black edges, matching high-cut control briefs, and grey socks with pink stripes. The blond-haired blue-eyed one was clad in a sultry red bustier and matching high-cut bikini panties, as well as red socks. The red-haired green-eyed woman was wearing a green t-shirt bra and white boyshorts and socks. Finally, the black-haired brown-eyed cultist was clad in an ivory-colored satin plunge bra and matching satin hip-hugging panties as well as white socks.

They decided to use the zip-ties they stole alongside the security guard uniforms to restrain the four cultists. They were aware of the fact that, once inside the building, they probably wouldn’t need another change of clothes. If things turned ugly, they’d have to fight. Luckily, they were carrying a few surprises on them, courtesy of Tinker…

They zip-tied each woman’s wrists and elbows behind her back, then zip-tied each woman’s knees and ankles. Libido’s spare ball-gags had been left in the backpack inside Esther’s and Melody’s guard building, therefore the sisters shoved a few clean handkerchiefs into each woman’s mouth and cut one security uniform into a few strips to turn them into makeshift cleave-gags.

The night was warm, therefore their victims wouldn't have to worry about getting cold.

As a safety precaution, Angel used a few of her sleeping darts to put to sleep the bound cultists. The sisters didn’t want them to manage to crawl for help before they were finished with Sarah. (Though Angel used the darts with her hand, not with her revolver. Shooting at them while they were lying on the ground was looking too much like an execution.)

The four infiltrators then put on the discarded tunics and trousers, the hooded white robes, the rope belts and, more importantly, the black masks.

They left the four bound-and-gagged cultists lying on their stomach, concealed in the blind spot of the building, and returned to the main entrance.

Mag smiled and let them in.

“They are awaiting you, sisters.” she commented.

Her smile was the proof that she was enjoying the double-meaning of her sentence.

**************

Thanks to the hoods hiding their hair, as well as the collars of their robes and the masks hiding a good chunk of their faces, Tina and her three sisters were able to enter the manor’s main reception hall where the gathering was taking place. Nobody recognized them.

The room was bustling with activity, and nobody truly paid attention to the newcomers. They were all mesmerized by the sight of their leader, who was about to speak.

The sisters stayed in the back of the crowd.

Now that they had managed to see the group, there was no mistaking it.

In front of the small crowd of masked women, wearing her black hooded robe, white shoes, white rope-belt, and white ‘angry’ theater mask, was standing Sarah Sandy Summers. Or, as she liked to call herself, the Leader. Tina couldn’t see her face or body, but she still remembered the plain physique, the prominent ears, the crooked nose, the stringy red hair, the freckles and the plain brown eyes.

Compared to the small army Sarah had managed to gather during their previous fight, this group seemed rather small. About sixteen women. Twenty counting the four that were currently bound-and-gagged outside.

Sarah was standing next to a board.

“Sisters! Our first operation was a rousing success!” she emphatically exclaimed. “We are showing the Phantoms that we are just as good as them at chasing infiltrators! Better even! We have purified this town with fire, and now the women of Heartfelt City will be able to sleep a little better!”

The masked women took the time to congratulate themselves. The four infiltrators among them followed suit, playing the part of genuine anti-uniform stealers.

“However, sisters, do not make the mistake of thinking that our task is over. Far from it! For this town is the true center of the corruption! There are still many of these disgusting infiltrators! And I gathered you tonight to discuss our plans to eliminate the next batch!”

And here we go… The interesting part... Tina thought to herself.

She was still hesitating between only listening to Sarah’s plans to prepare a counter-attack to foil them or fighting the gathered cultists right here and right now to stop them. The second option was definitively of the high-risk high-payment kind, but Tinker’s ‘knock-out ball’ would hopefully even things out.

Tina shared a quick glance with her three sisters. They decided to wait until they knew what the plans were.

Sarah kept talking: “You see, these infiltrators are way more talented and elusive than the criminals we slew. However, fear not, I have studied them for a long time now, and I managed to find something that even the Phantoms couldn’t find. Their weakness. Sisters, we will use their loved ones against them!”

Sarah opened the board. On it, there were a few pictures.

The first one showed a little girl and a man, probably Blink’s daughter and ex-husband according to what Libido told them.

The second one showed Felicity.

Tina clenched her fists. Her intuition was correct! Sarah was after them! Worst, she was ready to hurt their friends to lure them into a trap!

“Well not tonight…” she muttered to herself.

She didn’t even need to watch her sisters to know that, just like her, they were willing to move into the attack right her and right now, without even hearing what Sarah’s plans were.

They wouldn’t let Sarah hurt innocent people! If she wanted to get them, she would have to fight them head-on!

Tina threw the ‘knock-out base-ball’ in the middle of the crowd.

It released a powerful light that managed to blind almost everyone, with the exception of Sarah thanks to her mask that was more elaborate than the ones of her followers.

The masked cultists shouted in pain and surprise.

“Infiltrators!” Sarah screamed.

At the same time, the ball released its knock-out gas. The women next to it didn’t even have the time to realize what was going on. They were knocked out before they could escape.

“Retreat my sisters! Retreat!” Sarah shouted while trying to escape in the confusion.

Tina saw her run away.

“Oh no you don’t!” she exclaimed.

The cultists were running everywhere in the room to escape the white smoke. Some of them were still blinded because of the light. A third of them were lying unconscious on the floor when the white smoke cleared out.

Tina avoided a few running women, took advantage of the situation to knock one out with a neckchop, and ran after the Leader. Angel, who was standing the closest to her, managed to keep up with her.

Marie and Soph tried to run after them, but suddenly a group of angry masked women blocked their path. These were the ones who had been standing the furthest from the knock-out base-ball, and therefore had quickly recovered from the blinding light.

“There they are! The infiltrators among us!”

“Grab them!”

“Well, looks like we’ll have to do it the hard way…” Soph remarked while cracking her knuckles.

“Hold the line! My drones are coming!” Tinker said in her earpiece.

Soph smiled. “If I leave a few cultists for them…” she commented.

She charged.

Marie followed her. While she now preferred using a more subtle method with her gadgets, it DIDN’T mean that her fighting abilities had become rusty, as the cultists were about to discover…

Soph and Marie went to contact to prevent the cultists from using firearms, fighting side by side.

Soph was the first one to jump into the fold and she immediately started beating down the cultists. One tried to throw a punch herself, but Soph just caught her fist in her grip and scoffed at the pitiful excuse for a punch the cultist just tried. The clone then responded with a punch of her own that knocked the cultist’s lights out. Soph side-stepped a different cultist, before landing a swift but strong elbow right into the cultist’s stomach. The woman spluttered under her mask, but Soph just hit her with a powerful uppercut, knocking her out too. A third cultist tried to grab Soph from behind, but Soph grabbed her wrist and with a swift turn of her body she hip tossed the cultist right over her body and onto the floor. The cultist looked up, just in time to see Soph's left fist come crashing down on her face, knocking her out.

Marie got surrounded by a group of cultists and they rushed in, Marie side-stepped one, giving her a quick chop on the back of her neck as she passed her. The woman she chopped was unconscious before she even hit the floor. A second cultist rushed Marie, but Marie again just side-stepped her and grabbed the cultist from behind. She then used a swift nerve pinch to knock her out. Marie hurled the cultist’s unconscious body at a third woman. The latter reflexively caught her companion’s body before dropping her out of the way. However, this had left her momentarily distracted, giving Marie the opening for a quick Vulcan like grip on the shoulder. The woman moaned and groaned as the grip took effect, then fell to the floor, straight on top of the second cultist’s body, almost in a sixty nine position. A position Marie knew that Libido would definitely approve of, if she was on this assignment with them...

Tinker's drones crashed through a window and flew around in seemingly random directions, but this was a coy to distract the three cultists trying to shoot down the drones. What they didn't realize was that a second group of drones had hovered just behind the three unknowing cultists and had taken aim. Seconds later, all three cultists let out eeks and shrieks, and the knocks out dart hit them from behind. Moments later, all three cultists moaned as they fell straight forward onto the floor with their bums firmly pointing up into the air.

With the coast seemingly clear Marie and Soph turned to each other to give each a much needed ‘well-done fist bump’.

“Now, let’s go help our sisters.”

However, they were unaware that one of the cultists was secretly hiding and getting ready to strike...

The woman pointed her gun at Marie and Soph from behind, hoping to use the element of surprise, but as soon as she walked in the open, one of Tinker's drones took notice and fired a dart.

The cultist staggered forward and fell asleep as she hit the floor. This caused both Marie and Soph to spin around thinking that they were about to be attacked, before they noticed the new snoring cultist on the floor.

"I’ve got your six, sisters." Tinker said down the mic.

"Thanks Tinker, I owe you one." Soph replied.

"How about, like, you owe me at least one gadget try out when you get back?" Tinker joked in response.

"Ha Ha, don't push your luck sister dear." Soph jokingly responded too.

Marie just naturally chuckled, as she knew Tinker wouldn't stop until Soph had a gadget of some kind, even though the latter would always insist on using her fists.

“Make sure everyone takes a little nap with your drones, Tink’. Marie and I will go help Tina and Angel.”

“Ok. I send one drone with you.”

“Let’s just hope that Sarah didn’t use a dirty trick on them…” Mary said, referring to their sisters.

**************

Sarah threw away her mask to better see where she was going, but even without that handicap, she didn’t manage to outdistance her pursuers. In spite of the unbounded rage that was enhancing her strength, the Leader still didn’t have Tina’s and Angel’s life of training behind her.

The redhead stopped running in the middle of the kitchen that was used to cook for guests during the social events taking place in the manor.

Angel and Tina stopped at a safe distance and didn’t blindly rush her however. They knew that Sarah was the kind of woman who carried hidden weapons on her. The kind of woman who fought dirty.

“There’s no escape, Sarah!” Tina shouted. “Surrender!”

“To allow you to strip me and lock me somewhere until I die of suffocation?” the redhead retorted. “I know how your perverse minds work!”

“I would never do that!” Angel retorted. “I always leave them in a safe place! One where they would be able to breath!”

Sarah scoffed with disdain. “So what? In my book, that makes you just as guilty as the others! In fact, that makes you even worst!”

“Don't listen to her, Angel.” Tina intervened. “She's playing on your insecurities! She's trying to break you! Watch out for her hands! She’ll pull out a hidden weapon!”

“You’re trying to be gentle with your victims? Big deal! As if they’d see a difference! You're still assaulting other women!” Sarah shouted. “You're still taking their clothes! You're still leaving them half-naked and vulnerable! Your gentle methods are just a way to try to ease your conscience! To try to make yourself look good! They aren’t genuine! If you had truly changed, you would have stopped doing all that! You can lie to everyone. You can even lie to yourself. But you CAN'T lie to ME!”

Tina was about to rush Sarah to make her stop talking. However, she noticed that the Leader’s hand was grabbing something in her robe. Don’t fall for her trap. She’s holding a gun. Wait for an opening. The second she tries to draw her weapon, during the time it’ll take her to pull it out of her robe, jump her! But not before!

The Leader shouted: “I’ve heard about you. The one they call ‘Angel’. I know what you are. I know what you did! You're a murderer and you're a hypocrite! You are scum! You will never be able to make amends for all the horrible things you did, all the people you murdered! And if you were TRULY sorry about what you did, then you would have the decency to KILL YOURSELF as penance for your crimes!”

Angel became ghostly white. She froze, as if in trance. Tina realized what was going on when she saw tears forming in her sister’s eyes. The flashbacks. Not now!

Sarah pulled out a small handgun and aimed at her distracted foe.

“THAT'S IT!”

Tina roared in rage and jumped the redhead before she could shoot her sister. Sarah was actually surprised by her rapidity. She had underestimated the boost of strength and speed that anger would give to Tina.

“How DARE you?!” Tina screamed.

She violently tackled Sarah to the floor. The Leader dropped her gun.

Her sister was doing so many efforts to be a better person! How could this woman DARE TO judge her? Sarah hadn’t seen Angel wake up sobbing every night because of her guilt! She hadn’t seen her have a traumatic flashback simply because BB proposed to do a photo SHOOTing! She hadn’t seen her working hard to improve herself! She had no right to judge Angel!

“I sympathized with your plight!” Tina screamed at the Leader. “And I can forgive a lot of things! But that! THAT! I will never forgive you for what you said! I will NEVER forgive you for THAT!”

“Then we're on the same page...” Sarah growled.

She pulled out a small stun-gun that she was hiding in an inner-pocket of her robe. Because of the anger that was blinding her, Tina noticed the threat too late.

Sarah pressed the weapon against the clone's neck and gave her a powerful jolt.

Tina groaned in pain and fell on the side. She was still conscious, but her entire body was numb.

This specific stun-gun wasn't made to knock out someone. It was made to paralyze them while leaving them conscious.

The Leader wanted her to watch.

I was foolish… Let my anger blind me... Should have remembered that she fights dirty... Tina thought to herself. I have to do something… Angel’s in no shape to fight, and Marie and Soph are still fighting the other cultists...

But she couldn’t move. Her entire body was numb and unresponsive.

Sarah kicked her away and got up. She moved to grab her handgun, confident that Angel couldn’t stop her in time.

However, it turned out that she and Tina made the same mistake.

They underestimated Angel’s willpower.

“TINA!”

Angel broke out of her trance. She rushed to help her sister.

Sarah quickly jumped out of reach, abandoning the idea of grabbing her discarded handgun. Instead, she brandished her stun-gun.

Angel stayed out of reach. She was a better fighter, but knew that Sarah’s stun-gun was evening things out.

The two fighters started to warily turn around each other. They weren’t losing sight of each other. Both knew that, at the first second of distraction, the other would strike. Still paralyzed, Tina was powerless. She could only watch helplessly.

Sarah chuckled when she passed near the paralyzed Tina. “You say you’ll never forgive me?” she asked the paralyzed woman. “What a coincidence...”

She kicked Tina in the ribs without breaking eye contact with Angel. She was provoking her.

“… I also will NEVER forgive you what you did to all these women.” the redhead added. “For what one of you did to ME.”

Angel grimaced. Every fiber of her being was itching to go rescue Tina, but the former elite fighter in her knew that it was a trap. She couldn’t take Sarah’s bait if she wanted to win!

“Stop it! Please!” she exclaimed.

Sarah glared at Angel.

“Do you know what I hate about you?!” the Leader shouted at Tina and Angel. “It's your attitude! At least the other infiltrators are honest about what kind of persons they are! They don't try to delude themselves into thinking that they are good persons! They don't pretend that they have the moral high ground! They don't pretend that they are better than this world's general corruption!”

The Leader’s eyes were burning with anger and hatred.

“I heard about the women you mugged in that circus... Weren't they innocent? Did they deserve what happened to them?”

“We were trying to stop the Puppeteer!” Tina shouted. “We called the police to have them rescued as soon as we were done!”

The Leader scoffed. “So you stop a criminal by committing other crimes? Strange logic! And what about your mugging spree during the big parade? Were you trying to stop a criminal too? So many innocent clerks, street artists, and majorettes mugged by you and your sisters... These women didn't do anything wrong, didn't they? They weren't corrupted, weren't they? And yet you still assaulted them!”

“We had to escape the Phantoms...”

“If you truly were good persons, you would have faced your enemies head-on without involving innocent women! You would have faced them head-on and you would have accepted your death if they were stronger than you!”

“I refuse to see my sisters killed!” Tina retorted.

“And if you had to choose between your sister's life and the life of an innocent woman you mugged, what would you do? Would you let your victim die?”

“I'm planning things to never have to make that choice!”

“You've already made that choice. The mime woman you mugged. She wasn't found first by the police. She was found by a bunch of perverts. Do you want to know what they did to her?”

Tina's eyes widened. She became as pale as death. “No…”

Angel put a hand on her mouth in horror.

Sarah smiled cruelly. “And since they didn't want to leave any witness, they got rid of her after the deed was done!” she added.

“No... You... You… It can’t be...” Tina stammered.

She suddenly heard Tinker speak to her in her earpiece. “Don't listen to her. She's lying! I've read the police reports! All the women we mugged were found out! And they were all fine. Shocked, but otherwise unharmed!”

Tina saw Sarah's face from under. The Leader was smiling. She had greatly enjoyed her cruel lie.

“You monster! How can you lie about things like that?!” Angel exclaimed.

“What? You still hurt these women, didn't you? You deserve to suffer as punishment for your actions.”

Tina heard Tinker groan of anger in her microphone. “Alright! She wants to play dirty? Well, I can play dirty too! Hold on Tina, the reinforcements are coming!”

Suddenly, the door was burst open. Soph and Marie were arriving. A drone was following them.

Their arrival raised Tina’s hope but, unfortunately, also distracted Angel during a few seconds. The time for Sarah to drop her stun-gun and pull out a second small pistol from under her robe.

No way! How many concealed weapons does she have?!

“Stand back!” Sarah barked at the newcomers while waving her handgun. “Or your sisters get it!”

Please listen to her... Tina thought to herself. I don’t want her to shoot Angel, or you...

Marie and Soph complied begrudgingly.

The drone also stopped. Indeed, Tinker knew that Sarah would recognize her robotic insects. However, she still had one ace under her sleeve…

Tinker’s drone suddenly played a sound clip.

So I was thinking that we should move to the country...

Tina recognized the sound clip. It was from one of the videos that Simon Summers posted on his website.

Move to the country? Why? Simon’s voice asked.

I don’t want Carrie to spend all her childhood in a big polluted city. I want her to be able to play, to be able to run everywhere without risking being run over by a car!

Sarah briefly remained frozen when she heard her own voice.

“Who dares?! Where are you?! Show yourself!”

Tinker used her drone to project a hologram of Sarah Sandy Summers as she looked in the pictures her husband posted. Younger, happier, and sane.

We’ll have our own house, with a huge garden! And a dog too! No, two dogs. Two big friendly dogs.

The Leader greeted the appearance of her smiling past reflection with an expression of utter loathing.

“You were happy! You had a family who loved you! A family who still loves you and wants you to return to them!” Angel intervened. “How can you renounce all that? How can you renounce the better person you used to be?”

“A better person?” The redhead glanced at the image of her past self and scoffed. “I only see a worthless piece of trash. I am the Leader! I am ten times better now! I am a million times better!”

“It’s not too late, Sarah! You can come back to them!” Tina intervened. “They love you Sarah! They love you so much that your absence is breaking them apart!”

The Leader ignored her. She was losing it. “I am the Leader now! I am better! I AM STRONG! I AM UNSTOPPABLE!” She looked once more at her past reflection. “And you, you are NOTHING!”

She aimed her gun.

“Sarah no!”

The Leader opened fire on the image of her past self projected on the wall.

“Get down!” Marie shouted at everyone. As a former soldier, she knew what was going to happen.

Any trained gun user knew about a few basic safety rules. One was to never use a firearm in an enclosed space unless it was unavoidable. Indeed, bullets could ricochet…

Blinded by her hatred of her former self, the Leader disregarded that rule.

The bullets flew straight past the hologram and bounced on the wall. The Leader screamed in pain when one bullet grazed her. She dropped her gun.

Angel was the first to react. She got up and rushed the staggering redhead. She had realized that the only way to end this fight with no more bloodshed was to physically restrain her opponent as quickly as possible.

Angel tackled the redhead and pinned her to the floor.

Soph and Marie got up and ran to help her.

“Careful! She fights dirty!” a still paralyzed Tina shouted.

Indeed, the Leader grabbed a tiny switchblade that was hidden under her robe. Thanks to Tina’s warning, Angel saw her quickly enough to try to dodge… but not quick enough to completely avoid the blow…

Angel groaned in pain when the Leader hit her in the side with her blade.

“That’s IT!” Soph violently kicked the blade from the Leader’s hand before the redhead could get up and stab at Angel again.

At the same time, Marie grabbed Angel and pulled her away, then she checked her wound.

Soph violently kicked the Leader a second time, this time in the face.

The redhead fell on the floor, curled up and whimpered.

“Your fake cries won’t work on me!” Soph growled.

She used her legs to block the Leader’s arms, grabbed her by the collar, and raised a shaky fist.

“I’ll crush your skull with my bare hands!” Soph shouted.

“Stop it!” Angel exclaimed.

Her sister stopped mid-gesture.

“Angel…?”

“Don’t worry. It’s just a flesh wound.” Marie intervened. As a former soldier, she knew a lot about field medicine.

Angel shook her head. “Soph… You’ve defeated her. Hurting her more wouldn’t accomplish anything besides proving her point. And neither would killing her. That’s her method. We’re supposed to be better than that.”

Soph hesitated. “She hurt you… She hurt Tina... I can’t… I can’t let her get away with it!”

“She’s sick, Soph. She’s not corrupt like your average dirty cop or brutal warden. She needs to be locked up for her own good. She needs a treatment, not a pummeling.”

Soph bit her lower lip. Then, slowly, she complied. She immobilized Sarah and used the Leader’s rope-belt to bind her hands behind her back.

After having bandaged Angel, Marie went to help Tina. The latter was slowly recovering from her paralysis, but she still needed help to stand up or to walk. From her part, Angel could walk on her own.

Soph made the Leader stand up. The redhead glared daggers at Angel.

“What’s your point? Do you want to humiliate me? Or maybe to make yourself look good?”

Angel shook her head. “Poor woman. Even though you tried to kill me, even though your tried to kill my sisters, I can’t get angry at you. I can only pity you. You’ve chosen a self-destructive path. If you keep on like that, you will never find closure. You will never be satisfied, even if you managed to wipe out all the infiltrators from the face of the earth.”

“You think this changes anything?! This doesn’t undo who you are! This doesn’t make any difference for all the people you hurt, all the people you killed!”

“Your vision of the world is so black-and-white, so naive. Do you even realize that many dangerous criminals had been put behind bars thanks to infiltrators?” Marie retorted. “Kuebiko, Glitch, Ricochet, Roxane, V1ck13… Even entire gangs of criminals like the Neon Goons! Infiltrators are mercenaries, not some drones with a beehive mentality. Some do good, some do not. Some try to avoid casualties, others don’t. Some are criminals, others work for the government. And some of them are somewhere in the middle.”

Angel looked at her sisters, then added: “And some are just trying to survive in a world where everyone is after their head… Some are just trying to survive in a world where the deck had been stacked against them since birth… Some are just trying to live their lives free, when their creators only gave them birth to be used as weapons…” She put all her heart in her argument, trying to convince Sarah.

The Leader brushed off their points as if they were irrelevant. “You think this is over?! I will come back! I will hunt down every single one of you!”

“Then I’ll wait for you.” Angel calmly retorted. “I am a murderer. And perhaps I am even a hypocrite. But I am also a sister. And if you try to harm my siblings, I will stop you. I will stop you every time.”

Marie, supporting Tina, approached her.

“WE will stop you every time. Together.”

**************

They waited until Tina was able to walk on her own, then escorted Sarah in the main reception hall of the manor. Her cultists were lying on the floor. They were all deeply asleep. Some of them were even snoring, and one was holding another close to her as if she was a human-sized teddy bear.

Tinker’s swarm of bugs filled with knock-out serum was perfect when the sisters were in a hurry. One little sting and a woman of average build would sleep for one hour or two. Perfect when they didn’t have the time to bind them.

Mag regrouped with her sisters in the main room. When she saw Angel’s and Tina’s wounds, she sent a murderous glare at the Leader.

The sisters divested a few cultists of their rope-belts, and used them to thoroughly bind the redhead.

“I’ve called the police.” Mag said to her. “They will rescue the security agents you manipulated into guarding your criminal reunion. And they will take you and your goons in, to sort out which ones are criminals and which ones are innocent women you manipulated into helping you.”

The Leader looked at her with hate-filled eyes, but didn’t answer anything.

Mag’s face hardened.

“I also sent a message on your husband’s website. To tell him where you were and in which police station they’re about to transport you.” she bluntly added.

This time, she elicited a reaction. The Leader’s expression of hatred melted, replaced by one of utter terror.

“N… No! You can’t! You’re cheating! You didn’t have the right to do that!”

“They deserve to know where you are. You made them live in constant worry for years. They deserve to finally find some closure.” Mag coldly retorted. “Plus, you tried to kill my sisters. Do you truly think I would let you get away that easily?”

“You didn’t have the right! I can’t see them! I can’t!”

“Come on. We’re leaving.” Mag said while ignoring the redhead’s frantic exclamations. “Police is about to arrive.”

"I CAN'T SEE THEM! I CAN'T!"

The Leader was still shouting and rambling when they closed the door.

**************

The five sisters walked away from the manor.

Angel sighed. “Do you think that… some people are beyond saving? That they have so much succumbed to their inner-demons that they can’t be helped?”

“Yes.” Soph answered bluntly. She was thinking of Kuebiko. “But it doesn’t mean that you have to stop trying… And that doesn’t mean that you’re not winning your fight against your own inner-demons…” she added, knowing that Angel was both referring to Sarah and to herself.

Her sister answered her with a thankful smile.

Since the Leader was out of earsight, Tina couldn’t help but ask in her hidden mike: “By the way… Tink’… You were telling me the truth, right?”

“Of course! I wouldn’t dare lie to you! Not about something like that!”

“I… Sorry Tink’… Of course I trust you. It’s just… It’s just that she found the exact thing to say to hurt me the most…”

Angel put a hand on her shoulder. “I know… She did the same with me… But we’re supposed to be tough, right?”

She was putting on a brave face, even though it was clear that she also had been hit hard. Angel was actually handling the confrontation better than Tina.

“When did you become so strong?” the latter asked her with a small smile.

She was feeling proud.

Angel chuckled. “I have eight sisters that are my role-models…”

“Even Libido? Even STASIS?” Mag commented to try to lift everyone’s spirit after their grueling confrontation.

“Yes.” Angel bluntly answered.

“I’m worried about your future.” Mag joked.

Angel, Soph, and Marie chuckled.

Tina smiled, but it was forced. Out of all of them, she was the one who had been the most shaken by the confrontation.

Soph and Marie exchanged a glance. They wanted to find a way to make her feel better.

They got an idea.

******* The following day… *******

“Where are you taking me?”

“You’ve already asked it three times. It’s a surprise.” Soph retorted.

“We’re almost there…” Marie added.

Soph, Marie, Angel, and Mag were escorting Tina in the busy streets of Heartfelt City.

“There we are!” Soph said.

“Oh!”

The woman was 33 years old, had honey brown skin, old world blue eyes, and long black hair tied back into a Dutch braid. She was wearing white face paint with black splodges over her cheeks and eyes, and was clad in black tight trousers with suspenders attached to them, black high heels, white gloves, a black and white striped long sleeved shirt, and a black beret, with a cherry red neckerchief tied around her neck.

She was a mime.

Tina stared at her perform her routines during a few minutes. Cynthia’s face was focused. She was giving her all.

As Tinker said, she was fine.

Soph and Marie glanced at their sister. Tina’s silence was making them feel a little worried.

“We thought it’d help you feel a little better. Is there a problem?” Marie asked.

Tina shook her head. “No, of course not! I…” She smiled. “Thanks. It really cheered me up.”

Marie and Soph fist-bumped. “Mission accomplished!”

Tina looked in the basket in front of Cynthia. It was almost empty. Sadly, as Internet summed it up, Everyone Hated Mimes. And yet, the woman was still here, because it was her passion. Even if she didn’t meet success, even after she was mugged. She hung on.

No matter what, even in Heartfelt City, life went on…

Tina left a good sum of money in the basket.

Cynthia silently bowed her head as a thank you.

“Keep it up. Luck’s bound to turn at some point…” Tina said to her.

Then she left with her sisters. She was feeling a little better.

Tina took Mag, Angel, Marie, and Soph by the shoulders.

“Well, are you girls tempted by something sugary and caloric? We’ll buy the richest waffles we can find and we’ll organize a surprise snack with our sisters! The bill’s on me!”

“Free food? Now that’s what I’m talking about!” Mag answered.

“Careful Tina… I think Stasis mugged Mag to take her place…” Soph joked.

“We’ll have to check all the closets once we’re back home…” Marie added.

Angel snickered.

“Stasis and BB are still on the loose somewhere.” Tina playfully retorted. Since Tinker was in contact with them and said they were okay, she wasn’t worried however. She smiled and added: “Besides, I don’t think she would do that to one of her sisters, even if food is at stake… Unless it’s to access one of those fancy gourmet restaurants.” she joked. “And even then she’d bring part of the food as an apology.”

Mag, Soph, Angel, and Marie chuckled.

“Also, she’d know better than to try to mug MAG, of all people.” Tina added.

Mag nodded. “Indeed. If she tried, SHE would be the one ending up bound and gagged inside a closet.”

“Let’s just hope that Libido wouldn’t be the one to find her…” Marie added.

They all shared a genuine laugh.

“Eating sounds great!” Angel concluded. “And on our way, I’ll talk to you about an idea I had last night… An idea about how we could use our talents to fight crime head-on more often...”

The five sisters went on to find unhealthy food that they could share with the rest of their family, while listening to Angel’s idea at the same time.

Post by rufusluciusivan »

Warning! This is actually the third post! (Had to break the story into three parts instead of two because of 5.000 measly words... Be sure to read the first post and the second post first!

******* A few days later, during the night… *******

In a bad part of Heartfelt City, two women were waiting in a dark alleyway while watching the nearby empty street.

Sherry was a 28-years-old woman with hazel green eyes and a light skin. She had a punk haircut: the right side was cut short and near the head with the exception of three thin braids, while the left side was shoulder-long and shaggy. Her hair were dyed orchid purple She was wearing nightshade purple fingerless leather gloves, studded black leather boots, dark blue studded jeans, a bright purple t-shirt, a black studded leather jacket splattered with scarlet red paint, and a scarlet red headband.

Her partner-in-crime was called Mare, a 26-years-old woman with a pearly white skin and blue eyes. She had a neck-long high-ponytail with shaved sides. Her hair were dyed cyan blue. She was dressed in a black leather jacket splattered with neon green paint, a bright pink t-shirt, black leather trousers splattered with neon green paint, and thick black leather boots with grey studs. She was also wearing a black spiked choker with iron grey spikes and a three-row pyramid studded leather wristband on each forearm.

Sherry grabbed a flask of alcohol, an expensive brand of sherry ironically, that she had stolen in a store. She swallowed one good sip of the refined beverage as if it was some cheap booze.

“Got a sip for me?” Mare suddenly asked her partner.

Sherry glared daggers at her and pocketed her flask. “I ain’t giving you shit! You said this was a good spot!”

“It is!” Mare protested.

“Well, I’ve waited all night! And I ain’t seen any nerd to mug yet!”

While most members of the infamous Neon Goons gang had been arrested alongside with their boss Glitch, a few lucky ones were able to escape the authorities. However, the gang was now the shell of its former self, and was lacking the (wo)manpower to stand up against Heartfelt City’s other main gangs.

Still, the recent surprise downfall of the Holodecks after V1ck13 was arrested gave them a new hope. Apparently, someone was taking out the big gangs. For now, the weakened Neon Goons were under her radar as they didn’t look like a threat anymore. Thus, in spite of their rough uncultivated minds, the remaining neon goons imagined a strategy: Let the goody-two-shoes get rid of the competition for them, then come back in force to claim back their title of Heartfelt City’s top gang. Only the Ravens and the Crimson Lancers remained...

But to come back in force, they needed to break out the rest of the gang. And to mount a prison break, they needed money. Hence why the remaining grunts such as Sherry and Mare were on the lookout for rich people and dumb tourists to mug.

“Jeez! You just PMS-ing or what?” Mare complained.

Sherry glared daggers at her. She raised a closed fist. “You want a piece of me? Instead of beatin’ up some nerds, I can waste you!”

Things could have turned violent between the two goons, but at the same moment they noticed a lone figure walking across the street.

“Scrap that thought! Rich nerd incoming!” Sherry commented.

They immediately forgot about their dispute.

The blond young woman was barely eighteen. She was wearing a fancy dress. Probably some student who went partying with her friends and was too drunk, or too dumb, to know that a woman should never venture alone in this part of Heartfelt City at night.

“Ooohhh boy… Easy picking!” Mare exclaimed with a huge predatory smile.

“I know right?! It’ll be like takin’ the lollipop of a baby!”

The two thugs checked the street, then left their hiding place in the alleyway to block the blond woman’s path.

The passerby froze in fear.

“Hello nerd! Didn’t your mama tell you it’s dangerous to walk alone at night?” Sherry mockingly asked.

The neon goon grabbed the blonde by the collar of her dress.

Mare pressed a button to open her switchblade and threaten the girl.

“You may come across mean women like us…” Mare added.

The passerby opened her mouth to scream, but Sherry backhanded her before she could make a sound.

“No need to call for help, nerd… It’s Heartfelt City. Nobody’ll come!” the neon goon said with a terrifying predatory smile. “Now, ya’ll hand us your jewels and your purse, and we’ll let you leave in one piece…”

“Don’t know, Sherry… She has one sweet pair of tits… I’m tempted to have some fun with her...”

Sherry’s cruel smile widened. “You hearin’ my pal? She’s getting’ more horny every second! Better hand me all your money before I lose control of her… In fact, you’ll hand me everythin’. I’ll pawn off your nice little dress to get more bucks...”

“Stop it right there, criminals!” a voice suddenly echoed behind the pair of thugs.

Sherry and Mare turned to face the newcomer.

Standing in front of her, there was a woman in a black catsuit. A black ‘Zorro-like’ mask was hiding the top part of her face and a black headscarf was hiding her hair.

“Who’s that?” Mare exclaimed.

“Hey bitch! Costume ball ain’t here! So piss off!” Sherry barked at the newcomer.

“I won’t let you harm this innocent woman. Surrender, or I’ll be forced to use force.”

**************

Angel grimaced.

‘Forced to use force…’ Her formulation would need a little more work. Not that the neon goons had the syntax knowledge to criticize her anyway…

Sherry let go of the blond young woman and drew her own switchblade.

Menacingly, the two thugs approached Angel, ignoring the passerby. They brandished their switchblades.

“Alright, you asked for it, nerd!” Sherry shouted.

Sherry and Mare charged at the same time, intending to shank the woman while fighting two-against-one with absolutely no honor.

They heard two ‘bang!’.

The pair of neon goons hadn’t noticed Mag, who was waiting hidden in the shadows, also wearing a black catsuit, black mask and black headscarf.

Suddenly, two pairs of bolas wrapped themselves around Mare’s arms and legs. The neon goon fell face first on the concrete.

“Ow!” she shouted.

Sherry continued her assault, intending to plunge her blade into Angel’s stomach.

Angel nimbly dodged the blow, grabbed the woman’s arm, and twisted it behind her back. Sherry groaned as she couldn’t do anything but drop her blade.

“Hey bitch! What’s the big idea?!” she shouted.

Angel was in her back, still twisting her arm, immobilizing her with an armlock. The neon goon couldn’t do anything to break free.

Angel twisted the arm a little further, used her free hand to push on the woman’s head, and thus used her armlock to force the thug to get on her knee.

She had defeated her without needing to throw one punch.

Mag finished immobilizing Mare by putting a knee on her back while she was still lying on her stomach, her limbs entangled in the bolas she shot at her with a wrist launcher.

“We’ll take care of everything from here. Just go home.” Mag said to the passerby.

“Who… Who are you?” the blonde stammered.

Angel hesitated. While she had got the idea to spend some nights patrolling the streets with some of her sisters, she actually hadn’t thought of a name.

“We’re the Night Angels.” Mag intervened. “Your friendly neighborhood righters of wrongs.”

The young woman nodded. “Th-Thanks a lot!”

Then she ran away.

“Mag! Why did you choose that name?” Angel exclaimed, her cheeks all red.

“Why not?” Mag smiled and teased her sister: “Anyway, it’s too late to change now.”

“Hey bitches! If we’re bothering you, just say it!” Sherry, whose arm was still twisted, intervened. “What do you want from us?”

“Well, since you’re asking so nicely… What we want is your clothes.” Mag answered.

“What? Bitch, you crazy?!” the orchid-purple-haired goon exclaimed.

“I’m afraid not. We’ll need them to blend in if we want to approach the little group of your pals gathered near the docks.”

Mag grabbed her cellphone. When Mare tried to wriggle a little, she pressed her knee harder against her back to force her to stay still. The cyan-blue-haired neon goon whimpered, but remained still.

Angel was still immobilizing Sherry. Her hold was gentle, but firm.

“Tina. We got two. Can you bring the van here?” Mag said in the cellphone. “Thanks!”

She looked at Sherry and Mare.

“It’s settled! We’ll offer you a nice ride, the time to see if we can gather a few more of your pals, then we’ll drop you at the police station.” she said with a smile. “Angel will give you a little prick, and you’ll be off to slumberland…”

Sherry and Mare exchanged a look. The two neon goons were slowly understanding that they weren’t the apex predators they thought they were.

On the contrary, they were preys.

**************

Tina, also wearing a black catsuit, a black mask and a black headscarf, drove the van in front of the alleyway. Her two sisters loaded the captured neon goons inside, then closed the doors and swiftly went to work.

Deeply asleep thanks to Angel’s darts, the two thugs were snoring like sailors.

Angel stripped Sherry while Mag stripped Mare.

Angel first undid the velcro on Sherry’s nightshade purple fingerless leather gloves gloves and whipped them off her hands. She pulled off the studded black leather boots, unfastened the belt and removed the dark blue studded jeans while lifting her legs. Finally, she unzipped and pulled off the black studded leather jacket splattered with red paint, then took off the bright purple t-shirt, lifting the thug’s upper body and then gently dropping it in the process. To perfect her upcoming ‘tough gang member look’, Angel also untied the headband and acquired it.

Mag started by taking off the Mare’s black spiked choker with iron grey spikes and the three-row pyramid studded leather wristbands. Then, she removed the black leather jacket splattered with neon green paint and bright pink t-shirt. She was less gentle than Angel when lifting and dropping the woman’s upper body though. She unlaced and removed the thick black leather boots with grey studs… and wrinkled her nose because of the smell. “Girl, change socks more often…” she commented to the sleeping cyan-blue-haired woman. Mag had more trouble when she pulled off the black leather trousers splattered with neon green paint. “Jeez! Why do all these gang bimbos wear tight pants?” she complained.

Sherry was left wearing a neon purple racerback bra, matching cheeky panties, and bright green socks with white skulls. Mare was clad in a neon yellow demi-bra, a black string, and bright pink socks with black skulls.

The sisters used black zip-ties to restrain the women: they bound the wrists, elbows, knees and ankles. Ball-gags ‘borrowed’ (stolen) from Libido’s secret stash were once again put to good use. Sherry was silenced with a purple ball-gag and Mare by a blue one, to match the colour of their hairs.

Angel put on Sherry’s clothes, and Mag put on Mare’s.

(Mag complained about the smelly boots and the tight leather pants all the way through.)

“So… How do I look?” Angel asked while tying the red headband.

“You need to practice your ‘mean girl face’.” Mag answered while tying the spiked choker.

“You mean like that.” Angel made a face. “Yarrr!” At the same time, she was scratching her fingerless gloves.

“Looks more like a pirate, but I guess it’ll do.” Mag answered with a shrug, as she was putting on the wristbands.

Having learned from Tina’s past experience with the neon goons, the sisters had brought with them a bunch of colored wigs. Angel put on a wig that was angel blue and Mag, one that was fire red.

They were now perfectly looking the part of neon goons.

“Then off we go! We have other goons to ferret out!” Mag commented.

Angel nodded. “Tonight, the people of Heartfelt City will be able to sleep a little safer…”

Tina drove them away.

**************

That morning, six bound-and-gagged neon goons were left in front of the police station.

Mag, Tina, and Angel slept next to each other during the first half of the day.

Angel had no nightmare.

**************

The three sisters woke up when Stasis and BB made their triumphant return.

“Finally!” Tinker commented.

“Well, you know sis’, life is tough when you’re a fugitive…” Stasis melodramatically answered.

“Are you kidding? I heard you all the way through! You sold the shoes and the phone, and used the money to tour the restaurants with BB! Now, that stunt, I won’t forgive easily!” Tinker retorted.

“Now, now, allow me to correct you.” Stasis playfully retorted. “First, I only sold the phone, the jewels, the gemstones, and the diamonds and the gold plates on the shoes. I kept the high-heels, ‘cause they’re like the most comfortable high-heels I’ve ever seen. (You could say that all the women would want to… BE IN MY SHOES when I’m wearing them.)”

“Stasis!” Tinker groaned.

“Second, I only used PART OF the money to tour the restaurants. I donated most of it to charities, like Tina wanted. So sis’, sorry if my actions EAT YOU UP inside, but I trust you’ll be CHARITABLE enough to give me a pass…”

“Stasis, you better stop!” Tinker warned her.

“I didn’t do any pun during the entire adventure, I’m just trying to catch up. Third, I kept some of the money to buy all you girls gifts!”

She and BB handed them packages.

“Merry Stasis-mas!” Stasis exclaimed.

Soph received a pair of white half-finger sandbag fighting gloves and a disk of heavy metal music; Angel, medicines to help her sleep; Marie, the latest videogame featuring an infiltrator as a main character; Mag, a new running outfit (colored like military fatigues to match her swimsuit); Libido, a ‘toy’ of ‘interesting’ shape; Tina… a cup with ‘Number 1 Mom’ written on it.

“I gave BB a book about French history. And for you, Tinker… The latest Razer BlackShark V2 Pro with a 2 GHz USB wireless interface, THX Spatial Audio, noise cancellation, TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers, and removable Hyper Clear Supercardioid mic!”

“It’s actually a 2.4 GHz wireless interface with this model.” Tinker corrected her sister’s description. She nimbly swiped the device. “And you are forgiven.” she added.

“Well, thanks Stasis… That was awfully nice of you…” Tina commented.

“No need to dwell into that. I was simply happy that I managed to snag… THIS!”

Stasis showed them a piece of paper.

“Gabrielle Lensahc’s autograph!”

The gathered sisters all stared at the precious sheet.

“How in the blazing hell did you manage to get it?” Soph exclaimed.

“Well you see, I insisted to release her myself. It’s a long and awkward story, but to sum it up for some reason she wasn’t angry at the fact that we prevented her from meeting the mayor’s daughter. (I wish there were some author’s notes to explain that mystery.) She WAS of course angry at the fact that we assaulted her and her bodyguard, but we managed to come to an arrangement.”

“Let me guess. She gave it to you, and in exchange you promised to stay out of her life forever.” Mag intervened.

“How did you find out?”

“Lucky guess. I’m just surprised that she agreed to your proposition.”

Stasis waved her hand. “Pfft! You kidding? She’s a celebrity. Loony fans are her daily lot. Plus, I gave her back her dress and I’m too adorable to stay angry at."

"That's debatable..." Tinker mumbled.

"Also, she said that she was going to take advantage of the incident.” Stasis added.

“I know. They mentioned it on TV." Marie said. "Gabrielle has publicly blamed the mayor for the incident, and his popularity is dropping. She now holds him by the balls, he has no choice but to agree to all her demands for her next fashion show.”

“So all’s well that ends well…” Libido commented. “Speaking of which, I’ll put the little beauty you gave me with her friends…” She went to her secret stash.

Tina suddenly felt a little sweaty. She took Angel and Mag by the hand. “Sisters! Why don’t we just go take a walk outside for the next couple of hours? The time for Libido to calm herself…”

They ran to exit the flat.

The loud scream echoed when they reached the door.

“Who raided my secret stash?!” Libido shouted.

Tina, Mag, and Angel nimbly escaped while their other sisters burst out laughing.

Today, today life in Heartfelt City was good...

**************

THE END

Author’s note: Well, it’s supposed to be a little genius bonus as it gives another meaning to the mugging, but for those who don’t want to be kept in the dark about what Gabrielle and Victoire said:

“I can’t believe I sank so low! Having to keep this little bitch, this spoiled brat, company! Should have found an excuse to cancel! Any excuse!”

“It’s only a bad moment to go through.”

“And the nerve of her father! Threatening me to use his position to sabotage my upcoming fashion show at Heartfelt City! He’ll get what’s coming to him! I’ll find a way to make him pay for this humiliation...”

Re: Chapter 30.5: Chronicles of Heartfelt City

Post by Trackman281 »

Now that the whole story is here, I will savour every moment of this, okay, I'm too impatient......MUST READ NOW! 8-) :D

Aaaahhh, what a beautiful opening, it's gritty, it's real, it really sets the scene for how dangerous Sarah still is. Brilliant work of mentioning the phantoms, because yes, Tina and her sisters are fully aware of how brutal the phantoms, but they all know that the phantoms prefer to get up close and personal when going for their kills, so yes this is not their MO. Nicely done. :D

I know it's only the beginning, but I think you captured Tina, Mag and Angel's personalities perfectly, I can't wait to see the rest. :D

Haha, amazing, you really have captured all the other sisters perfectly here, YES Stasis would be eating a sub sandwich, YES BB would be reading her books, YES Marie would be playing a video game because why not, YES Soph would be practising her fighting style and of course.........YES Libido would be watching an adult anime and telling us all she's in it for the plot and not the knock out, panty shot scenes and suggestive poses........Okay Libido, we believe you hahaha. ;)

See that is Tina through and through, she has this desire to always help broken couple reunite and find each other again, she hates the idea of couple suffering when they could be in each others arms loving each other, so yes this is Tina through and through, excellent work. :D

HAHAHA, you see I tell you, I do tell everyone, Stasis is actually a bit of a genius, I can't wait to hear her plan, this is going to be SO AWESOME! .........You nailed Tinker's personality too, the tech-head of the group mindset comes through wonderfully and like all the others I think you've done a great job in capturing it. :D

Hahaha, BB and Stasis sharing a scene together, something that I've always wanted to try, I'm curious actually to see what it would be like. Once again before I read any further you've captured Stasis's personality again flawlessly, naturally she would be humming spy movie themes while she waits.....Because that's what Stasis does haha  .......I also really like the way you made Veronica a very tall and athletic woman to compensate for BB's height, excellent work! :D

HAHAHAHA, naturally Stasis would automatically assume that they were talking about food wouldn't she. I really did enjoy that conversation there between BB and Stasis, honestly well done, that was amazing to read! ..........Also I see what you did there Stasis, I saw it. ;)

Amazing work with the scene featuring BB and Victoria, excellent takedown, very well executed and it was interesting to see BB actually have to takedown a woman who was roughly the same size as her, nicely done again. :D

Haha, loved Stasis evaluation on her impersonating Gabrielle. ...........Hahaha, Stasis fan girling over the shoe designer was just amazing to see, you executed it perfectly , honestly, brilliant work!  8-)

That's my Stasis, never giving up, if she wants an autograph, she'll get one, but I am curious and excited to see how she gets it, I liked the whole van explanation too and it made me chuckle at the end, because it is as I've said before.........if the van's a rocking, don't come a knocking haha. :D

HAHAHA! My god, this entire scene just made laugh and laugh with sheer delight.....Seriously you've nailed both Stasis's personality and BB's personality here, that is EXACTLY the over top stuff I can see Stasis doing while naturally BB's response are very funny to witness as well. CONGRATULATIONS, this was amazing. :D ...........Oh and naturally I did like the way you included that little mention of how it was Angel who gave them the blankets, this is something Angel would genuinely do. :D

WOW!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!........I laughed at the next scene a lot more that what everyone will, but my god, oh my god, that was just hilarious........Stasis would naturally do the WORST impressions imaginable, yet somehow she'd sell it tremendously and get away with it in the process, absolutely amazing! :D ..........Also I see you remember Elsa and Ellie, the twin guards that all too keen to be close the fashion scene as possible, nice touch there. ;)

Aaaahhh my ribs, this is just too funny and too good to be true  .............Seriously, do you know just how much you've outdone yourself with this, it's just PERFECT, plus BB is very well cultured and fluint in a few other languages, so yes this is absolutely bugging the hell out of her watching Stasis wel......be Stasis......

Amazing work with the follow up scene, I really liked it when BB did that USB drive swapping Tinker to get the data off of, Tinker's scientific brilliance shines through again. Amazing! 8-)

Aaahh that was an excellent takedown of the mayor's daughter too, I still chuckled when Stasis hadn't quite got everything of for her big reveal, I am actually really pleased you chose to use the mayor's daughter as a type of secondary antagonist for this story, it was absolutely hilarious and I loved every minute of it! :D

HAAHAHA, I was hoping Elsa and Ellie would have another little scene and I'm so pleased they did, BB's takedown of them was amazing and the twin sisters reaction to BB's size was great.........Plus, Stasis being cheeky as ever with that fourth wall again I see haha. ;)

Yep, that's my Tinker alright, the moment anyone released a new device or gadget, Tinker has to get her hands on it and either improve it or perfect, I'd expect nothing more from my gadget pioneer and of course her ability to hack into things in virtually no time at all is fantastic, amazing work once again, you're capturing all of the sister's personalities and the essence of their own individuality, absolutely wonderfully.........Plus, why am I not surprised that Libido is extra horny, more so than usual, good idea though, when she get's THAT horny, who knows what sort of mischief she could cause, so it's easier if she sits this one out.......the guards will thank Tina for that decision hahaha. :D  8-)

Oh yes, here are two guards who I remember all too well, I love the crossword puzzle that they are doing as well, oh the sheer irony is right haha. .......I really liked the idea of Melody using Esther's thighs as a warm pillow while she sleep, quite sexy if I do say so myself, very nice. 8-)

Fantastic job on once again another brilliant portrayal of Angel's PTSD and of course excellent work in showing off Tina's constant love and support for Angel as she helps her through her PTSD, naturally the other sisters all want to help Angel, they jsut all have their own way and help out whenever they can so Tinker tweaking Angel's knockout serum so her victims can have a more peaceful sleep, is exactly what Tinker would do, because this is HER way of looking out for her sisters.......AMAZING WORK! :D

Also, haha I hope they only took the useful things from Libido's "secret stash" because their are few things in her stash that I'm sure they don't want to touch......Just DON'T, don't touch the vibrating things in there, because believe me, what Libido does in the shower, stays in the shower. ;)

Two more guards who I am very familiar with and yes this is true, any good guard would know to stay clear of bushes whilst out on patrol, however, this is Heartfelt City and the guards in this city, well.......They never learn do they. ;) :D

Hahaha, Tinker will never be told anything different, to her gadgets are the best things to happen since sliced bread, but as well all know, Soph will always only ever rely on her fists and a good old fashioned beat them up.......Although as we all know Tinker will not rest until Soph wields some kind of gadget hahaha. :D 8-)

I enjoyed the way you included Soph's backstory here, I think a lot of people do forget that Soph was actually kidnapped by Kuebiko for a long time and during this time, Kuebiko broke her mind using her fear toxin, yes Soph did suffer from extreme anger issues afterwards, but she's fine.....She's recovered and now she loves Tina with all of her heart and she loves the rest of her sisters with all of her heart too. :D

Haha, love the little cheeky banter between Soph and tinker here. 8-)

See I've said it once and I'll say it again, you've captured the sister personalities so spectacularly here and I'll explain why.......Tinker's way of showing her sisters that she loves them is by making them gadgets and trying to protect them........Soph's way of showing her sisters that she loves them is by protecting them and beating up anyone who even looks at them funny........Every sister is different with how they show love for each other, but make no mistake.......the do love each other and they always will. :D

I really enjoyed Marie's monologue too, being a clone soldier never suited her, she was always destined to be an infiltrator, she just needed Tina to show her that this was her true calling. :D

Haha and of course the scene wouldn't be complete without Libido chipping in to make sure if the guards want some "alone" time, then they should embrace it now, Libido does love her sexual shenanigans doesn't she. :D

Nicely done as well with Mag's scene, I must admit I'm impressed that you used Mag's other abilities so she could get the jump on Dawn, plus I like the good old fashioned grab and chop method that Mag favours. It's quick, clean and effective, brilliant work! :D

Aamazing work of the four cultists being taken down by Soph, Tina and Mag. Now yes Soph is the one who favours using her fists, but let us not forget that both Mag and Tina have indeed been trained in hand to hand combat as well, they prefer to use sneak attack fair enough, but when the cards are down on the table, they certainly know how to put up a good fight and they certainly haven't forgotten their training. :D 8-)

I really did like Angel's way of making sure the cultists were asleep, yes she would take the dart outs of her revolver and inject them into the cultist by hand as you are right if she had just lifted up her revolver and shot the darts into them, it would have felt and looked like an execution and this could have triggered one of Angel's PTSG flashbacks.......See it's those little details you include aht really makes me realize that YES you know what the sister's are al about, and that makes me smile with joy. :D

And of course Mag's little comment there was very much needed. Good old double meanings.

Aaahh that was a beautiful fight scene with Maire, Soph and Tinker taking on the cultists, thank you very much for that scene in, I believe it was needed to highlight the sisters attributes, plus it also added a little sense of humour at the end of the scene, which was very welcome indeed. :D

This confrontation is fantastic, the leader really will sink to any lows won't she, indeed Angel is trying her hardest......The sleepless nights, the haunting flashbacks, the unrelenting bursts of energy........She'll get better, she will get better, Angel might not think it or realize it now, but soon, she'll get better. Good use as well of that photoSHOOT phrasing, very cleaver if I do say so myself. :D 8-)

Tina will always rush in and defend her sisters, especially Angel from anyone, so this isn't a surprise that she lost her cool and rushed Sarah to defend Angel.......Tina knows what's Angel's going through, hell Tina has been with her every step of the way and for someone to suddenly belittle Angel like that, well you can bet your last penny that Tina will not let that slide and she'll defend and protect Angel, that's for sure. :D

This entire scene was amazing, Tina's love and protection of her sisters flowed through nicely, The Puppeteer gets a lovely shout out and yeah some people might Tina and her sisters methods a bit hypocritical, but we all know that Tina and her sisters would never leave their victims in a state of where they couldn't be found, plus Tina always makes anonymous calls to the police so they can always be found, this is something that Tina will never fail to do, she knows that as an infiltrator, both ehr and her sisters must mug women for their clothing for disguises.......But she also knows that many of them have families and loved ones, which is why after every assignment she damn well makes sure that their USB victims get found. This is how it will always be. :D :D

WOW.......WOW......WOW! That final fight scene though, Soph's anger at seeing one of her sisters get hurt, Marie's natural caring side, Angel's ability to see through the broken shell of a women that is Sarah Summers, Tina with her sense of duty and trying her best to pull Sarah back to the light......Such a beautiful scene, my god you captured it flawlessly, it was absolutely wonderful. :D

Those references though.......Glitch, Kuebiko, Ricochet, V1ck13, The Neon Goons and even........ROXANE.......fantastic usage of the rogues gallery and even Roxane which was a lovely surprise! You have done everyone in this universe a great justice with this story, you really have, it's beautiful. :D 8-)

DAMN RIGHT they will.....The sister know that alone they are great......But together they are unstoppable.......It's their true bond and love for one another that really makes them, THEM........and my god I can truly see you've spent so much time really hammering that point home.......Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you dearly and greatly! :D

I fully understand exactly why Mag punished Sarah by notifying her family of her location, obviously for two reasons, it is as you said, this was a punishment that was probably the most cruel that just simply locking Sarah back in jail and Mag of course needed a little bit of payback for Sarah trying to hurt her sisters, plus at the end of the day Mag is also right......It isn't fair if her family are left in the dark to worry all their lives, they genuinely need to know that Sarah is alive and try to bring her back to the light.......What Mag did was perfect to be honest and was the best thing to do! :D

Hahaha, loved the little jokey end to this scene between Mag, Tina, Soph, Angel and Marie and if you ask me, heck yeah who wouldn't want Stasis or Libido as a role model! :D

See I really liked that scene with the following day featuring Cynthia, this was greatly needed to put Tina's fears to rest and to show that Cynthia was indeed alive and well, had she been mugged for her clothes YES, does the world hate mimes YES.......But look at her, she's fine, she's not letting life get her down, she LOVES being a mime and she'll damn well do it all day, everyday no matter what anybody else thinks, I also knew that Tina would give Cynthia a massive chunks of credits, that's jsut the sort of nice person Tina is. :D

Haha, I see what you did there with that little re-worked scene, hhhmmm I actually think it works really well and comes off more natural and better, honestly, EXCELLENT JOB! :D

HAHAHAHA! I knew at some point you just couldn't resist using the Neon Goons and it's true, most of their gang is in jail.......But things can always happen in Heartfelt City and of course......Blink is going around taking out the other gangs isn't she......hhhmmm could the Neon Goons soon be back in power, questions oh questions. ;)

When you first explained the vigilante idea to me, I was very curious to know how you were going to pull it off........WOW! You pulled it off FANTASTICALY, absolutely amazing, I loved it, plus I got to see Mag and Angel impersonate a couple of neon goons so damn that's a win / win for me......I have a feeling we might be seeing more of the night angels in the future. ;) :D

I also really found that little afterwards to be very sweet, both Tina and Mag would naturally sleep side by side next to Angel, to comfort their sister, should another nightmare strike, yes this time it didn't happen, but it's the fact that they did it the first place, THAT's what the sisters are all about! :D

HAHA, Stasis and BB get home safely and oh naturally Stasis has used the money to go on an food touring spree haha, I also loved her "shoe" joke, because come on, it wouldn't be Stasis without a god awful joke. :D

hahaha, ahh my god these jokes are so real......I LOVE THEM!

Hahaha, even the gifts are great, I must admit I laughed when Stasis handed Tina the "number 1 mum" mug, hahaha, well played, well played!

See the fact that Stasis just described all that is simple, she is SO much smarter than what a lot of people know, she's just........Mischievous in life. :D

Hahaha, I see what Stasis is doing there again. .......Also that's my Stasis, I knew she wouldn't be able to let that autograph disappear I just knew it.........Plus she is right, Stasis is just too adorable and sweet to ever stay mad at. :D

HAHAHAHA! Aaaahhh my god that ending was picture perfect, I was wondering when Libido would find out about her secret stash, seriously what an awesome ending, I couldn't have done it any better myself. :D

Well here come the thanks.......Firstly I really do want to give you the biggest and warmest thanks I think I've ever given, this was absolutely stunning, this is the second time you've written the sisters and both times you've absolutely nailed it. You see, this is why you are one of the very, VERY FEW people that I'd ever give permission to write the sisters in stories, because you KNOW them.......You know their histories, their enemies, their likes, their hates, their love for one another, you know each and every single one of their own individual personalities and you write it all flawlessly and perfectly.........I mean that as well, I really do..........You've done both myself and the sisters the biggest honour, the greatest justice and it's simply outstanding and amazing........From the bottom of my heart I truly do thank you again!!!!! :D :D :D

Gritty opening indeed, a way to highlight Sarah's threat. As a victim of uniform stealing who decided to strike back, she makes for a compelling antagonist and I like writing her.

Took inspiration from your own beginnings, which often feature the sisters doing non-USB-related things before the beginning of a few mission. I admit that finding an 'idle hobby' for Marie was a little hard, so I went with the easy road. For the others, the sentences just wrote themselves.

The first half with Stasis and BB... When I think that it wasn't even supposed to exist at first! And that I added it just to give BB and Stasis something to do! Well, you seem to have had a lot of fun reading it, but I assure you that I also a ton of fun writing it.

Stasis and BB teaming up was a complete coincidence, but I realized while writing that they have a pretty good dynamic: BB's down-to-earth calmer cultured personality actually makes her one of the best foils for Stasis, alongside with Tinker.

I really enjoyed writing the scene revolving around Gabrielle and Victoire, wether when it was adding humorous parts, describing the takedowns, or describing the outfits. Figured out BB would appreciate having someone close to her size for once. And as you said, given Stasis' obsession with footwear, it was logical that she would fangirl over a famous shoe designer. And jumpt at the opportunity to impersonate her. But just to get to know her idol better, of course...

The sisters' group dynamic and personalities are often conveyed by little details in your stories, so I tried to replicate it such as with the detail of Angel being the one who gave them, or later the one of she using darts with her hand instead of with her gun when her victims are already lying on the ground.

I figured out that Stasis' impersonations would be a sight to behold. I guess they're so over-the-top that they can't help but work. Though, to be completely honest, she had it easy. Elsa, Ellie, and the mayor's daughters aren't exactly the brightest bulbs of the bunch... Always enjoy the continuity when bringing a few guards that had already been seen.

I really like the contrast you created between BB's role as a physical brawler and her personality of a placid cultured person.

Tinker's scientific brilliance is indeed in full display... and is also very useful to not waste time with the boring 'hacking the computer' parts to jump straight into uniform stealing fun again.

The mayor's daughter truly is a designated victim in these stories, she's that obnoxious.

For Stasis' reveal, I actually wrote myself in a corner when I realized that since I made her have contact lenses and prosthesis, she wouldn't be able to do a dramatic reveal in one go. Then I decided to roll with it and actually turn it into a plot point.

Feeling a little sorry for Elsa and Ellie. They clearly didn't stand the ghost of a chance, hence why BB decided to not beat around the bush and to make it quick. And then, they are not even stripped. As if they weren't good enough to have their outfits taken by uniform stealers. Can we argue that this may be an even worst humiliation than getting stripped on this Board? Also, does it show that the little breaking the fourth wall of Stasis was a joke I wanted to feature somewhere since, forever? Because it is.

The security guards surrounding Sarah's building were a ton of fun to write, but my favorite scene was between Melody and Esther. Yes indeed, they are returning character. Esther even came all the way from Vigilante to get mugged again, and ironically by once again by other vigilantes trying to stop a criminal bad luck I guess. Bless you, ironic crossword puzzles! Plus, thigh pillows. Little details like that are what keeps motivating me to write. Well, that and all the comments I receive!

The story arc and character interactions revolving around Angel's PTSD lead to some of the sweetest moments between the sisters. I actually had to restrain myself to not insist more on it, because one must not have too much of a good thing. I wouldn't want to get tired of it!

Libido was not taking part in the missions, because once again one must not have too much of a good thing, so I tried to still feature her somehow.

These guards need a consultant to devise anti-uniform stealing tactics for them, I tell you what... "Burn all the bushes of the city." "But sir, the quality of life will decrease if we get rid of green spaces." "BURN THEM YOU FOOLS!"

I was happy to be able to write more of Soph and Marie. They have more trouble getting the spotlight compared to their sisters with more colorful personalities, but they still have interesting backstories and inner-demons to overcome.

I agree that this fight scene between Soph, Marie, and the cultists was very well-done. Now, it's as if someone handed it to me on a silver platter... Wonder who that could be... ;) ;)

Sarah is a villain I really enjoy writing, so it would have been a crime to not give her a better closure. Basically, this story started at first as an excuse to have another confrontation between her and Tina's team. I really like Sarah's character: she has a tragic backstory and some of the points she makes are true, but at the same time she's so far gone in her hatred that she has become a vicious cruel monster, and a very unsympathetic person. She doesn't see the world's shades of grey anymore, she refuses to acknowledge the fact that most of the infiltrators are not one-dimensional card-carrying villains. She refuses to acknowledge the hardships that forced some of them to live this life or their good deeds. She's ready to lie, cheat, exploit any weakness, and fight as dirty as she can with absolutely no honour. She'll stoop as low as she can to secure a win. And while I couldn't find a way to explicitly point it out in the story without it feeling forced, ultimately she's also a hypocrite: at one point she reproaches to Tina that she commits crime (assaulting women to steal clothes and binding and gagging them) to stop other crimes. But Sarah... how do you call a person who would kidnap an innocent child to lure her mother into a trap?

The fight with Sarah was a ton of fun to write, and a way to showcase the sisters' love for each other: Tina rushing to defend Angel, Angel breaking out of her PTSD the second Tina is in real danger, and of course Soph utterly wasting 'the Leader' for what she did to her sisters.

I really enjoyed adressing the moral implications of Tina's and her sisters' actions, and indeed the point was to showcase that their desire to not harm people more than what's strictly necessary is genuine, that they make sure that their victims are always found safe and sound later (even when the anonymous call happens offscreen). As Angel mentioned, they didn't choose this way of life. They are just trying to survive in a world where a lot of people want their heads, to live free when their creators literally bred them to be war machines.

I'm satisfied with how Sarah's defeat was handled, at the same time because of the sisters' reactions, because of the continuity nods, and because of the symbolism of the fact that, ultimately, Sarah actively took part in her own downfall when she shot the reflection of herself, a metaphor of her self-destructive path.

As for Mag's way of finishing Sarah... Sometimes, kindness can be incredibly cruel, and forcing Sarah to confront her family was the best punishment Mag could inflict on her for what she did to her sisters. Many times worst than death or any physical injury. Plus she's right, Sarah's husband and daughter are just as much victims as her. They deserve some closure.

The epilogue as well was supposed to be a lot shorter, at first ending with the scene of them going to grab some food. Then I kept adding things, including a new uniform stealing scene with neon goons. I thought it's be logical that some of them would manage to escape the mass arrest, though only time will tell if their dream of becoming once again the top of the game is achievable... Probably not, if the sisters keep catching them! Also, I really wanted to feature a few more of them being mugged.

Angel's idea to fight crime as vigilantes felt natural, a way to highlight the sincerity of Tina's and her sisters' approach when they say they want to fight against Heartfelt City's corruption. I wouldn't mind seeing more scenes revolving around that angle. But I also wouldn't mind seeing the main plot and the Company take central stage again. Ah! So hard to choose!

And I couldn't help without featuring Stasis being Stasis, obviously!
Well here come the thanks.......Firstly I really do want to give you the biggest and warmest thanks I think I've ever given, this was absolutely stunning, this is the second time you've written the sisters and both times you've absolutely nailed it. Ha! Ha! Thanks a lot! You're making me blush actually. Honestly, I don't have much merit: you've characterized your characters so well and you've given them their little quirks and personality, so it's very easy to write them. ;) And very enjoyable too! :D I will confess that, lately, I was experiencing a little writer's block when it came to my own series. Vigiliante's last part was a lot harder to pull through than I anticipated, and I'm having a lot of trouble to find the right way to progress Pakal's storyline. Trying something completely different by attempting to write characters from other authors (both in Protecting one's lifestyle and here) helped me keeping the flame alive and having a break. Now, I'm starting to slowly envision the next part of Pakal and to feel the motivation to return to it slowly arriving.

Well this was certainly an interesting and welcome surprise. A sort of "crossover" story that did not involve any direct crossovers. It's an interesting way to compare and contrast the two writing styles, yours and Trackman's, when writing for the same characters. As an experiment, I'd say it was quite successful.

Trackman has already covered most of the story's strong points (and I imagine he'd have a better idea as to how well these characters are written - though I agree they were written very well), but I'll add that I quite enjoyed the story, both the individual scenes and the larger story itself.

The highlight for me was the scene where Stasis and BB take down Gabrielle and Victoire and pose as them. Everything about the scene - from the knockout to Stasis hamming up her French accent - was excellent. I particularly liked how thrilled Stasis was to be mugging and impersonating one of her idols. (And I was able to figure out what Gabrielle and Victoire were saying with the help of Google Translate. Fun little bonus exchange. :) )

The cult scene was good as well, although it did feel a bit repetitive after the "Protecting One's Lifestyle" story. Mostly fun watching the characters interact so humorously - Trackman has created them well, and you've captured their voices perfectly.

Considering this story will be seen as canon, it did a fine job of staying consistent with the tone and characters of Trackman's other stories, while still instilling the tale with your own distinctive flavor. Interesting change of pace overall. Kudos for writing it, and thanks to TM for giving you the green light to do so. :D

Thanks for the compliments! It's always reassuring to hear a confirmation by a third party. ;) The point was to feature an enjoyable episode in-between two parts, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The part with BB and Stasis seems to have left quite the impression. To think that it was the latest addition to the story! Good thing I postponed this story a little...

Honestly, I hesitated to wait a few more weeks / month before posting this story because it would be too soon after "Protecting One's Lifestyle", since as you mentioned both stories feature the same main antagonist and main setting of mugging a few sentries to then confront the cult. However, outside of the fact that I wanted to post this story while Trackman's series were still in a light-hearted part, I am way too impatient to not post a story immediately after it's finished.

I'll of course let Trackman decide if this story is canon or not in his main series. I guess that outside of the circumstances of Tina's first meeting with Sarah, there's nothing that can contradict the saga. (And even then you could argue that they met under different circumstances. Mhhh... Potential prequel... )

Oh yes, this story IS canon, but don't worry I've found a way to make it so, without it disrupting or causing confusion over the non-canon "Protecting One's Lifestyle", don't worry I've got this, I promise ;)

Plus if I'm being honest I'm actually liking this whole part time, night vigilante thing, so I've actually already written (in my mind) a segment of some of the sisters going to Chinatown whilst being the "Night Angels" to stop a gang who are simply known as the "Golden Tigers". I'm looking forward to showing that. 8-)
These guards need a consultant to devise anti-uniform stealing tactics for them, I tell you what... "Burn all the bushes of the city." "But sir, the quality of life will decrease if we get rid of green spaces." "BURN THEM YOU FOOLS!"
Hhhhhmmm.......Now that sounds like something a certain group would do doesn't it........Although as we saw with captain Tarling and her unit......These silly guards don't exactly listen to the Phantoms, even though it's probably for their own goods. ;)

Sorry I have not been able to post as much lately. Life has been a bit hectic. Good hectic, but nonetheless I have not had the time I would like to savor the great stories that keep coming.

And of course you would know I would love this one with the guard component.

First off, love the scene with Elsa and Ellie. BB so easily disarms them. And I love how while she and Stasis discuss her teaching Stasis the disarming technique she bangs their heads together to knock them out. And of course I kind of enjoyed the change of pace of guards being knocked out but not losing their uniforms.

And of course I loved the take out of all the girls guarding Sarah's compound.

It starts of with one of those classic scenes of two guards not realizing the danger they are in. I love Esther and Melody just chatting about the crossword puzzle and almost discussing their prior run ins with uniform thieves. And of course we get the wonderfully ironic comment from Melody about falling asleep.

The guards remain clueless until each is taken out. I love the image of Melody not being able to answer Esther, yawning, moaning and than falling into Esther's lap.

Interesting that later on Marie notes Mable didn't seem to have the arousal reaction to the dart. However, between the moan and the way she held on to Esther's thighs I wonder of Melody did get turned on by the drug.

And of course the scene of Esther getting darted, dropping her magazine and having her head fall back as the drug knocks her out too is great. Made all the better by the fact while Esther is being knocked out pretty Melody is laying in her lap.

And quite interesting that Melody was wearing a corset bra. Seems unusual for being on guard duty. Plans after her shift was over perhaps?

I also found the way Esther and Melody were left leaning against each out, half naked, bound and gagged really sexy.

Then the next wonderful scene with April and Mable. The great old scenario of two sentries not smart enough to steer clear of bushes.

Love April getting the infamous robot bee sting and then Mable getting the dart to keep her from panicking.

And I do love Marie's comment to Mabel “Don’t worry for your friend. It’s just a sleeping drug.”

And so good having them fall on top of each other. I love that!

I also like the dose of realism to April and Mable's bodies. You note Mable has chubby waist and also that April is wearing control briefs. Don't get me wrong,I love a sexy thing women but having the guards be a little pudgy, while still be sexy, is a nice touch of realism.

I also really enjoyed the way Soph and Marie just carry on a conversation while stripping the two unconscious girls.

The take out of Dawn was also great. I love Mag suddenly appearing before her and before she can reach she is wrapped up by the rope. She is then dragged over and falls into Mag's arms only to be sent to dreamland with a neck chop.

I kind of feel sorry for Dawn. Not only did her little yelp make her sound like some dumb bimbo but while the other four guard guards got drugged with the new formula to make their sleep more pleasurable (and in Melody's case at least perhaps a bit turned on), poor Dawn will be waking up with a sore neck.

Loved the story.

I had to post a second comment because I totally forgot about it until I had already posted my first comment.

I see a trend developing with Melody. Here when she is knocked out she ends up in Esther's lap. When we previously saw Melody getting knocked out she ended up with her face buried in Porsha's breasts.

Very interesting (and very sexy)!
