OK i'm at my wits end, what is with all this murder porn in pixiv, i'm OK with a little death in art, even in uniform stealing, but its legit just the same thing every time, and its getting annoying seeing pixiv just be murder porn when it could be more, at least in da there was a wide culture of fetishes, along with other things, even if the creator can't accept that. pixiv in my eyes has become less of art and more about whatever fucked up shit can be posted, there is legit good portrait artist, landscape artists, etc, but all i see is just rape porn, or murder porn. the last straw for me was when i saw Brooke's problem, the newest pixiv post, and legit it was a normal uniform steal, and then the woman was then pushed down the toilet and went into it, i have seen that sort of fetish, but like legit, it was unnecessary, and ruined a serviceable scene, i mean come on, there has got to be some real uniform stealing pics in pixiv that don't involve molesting them after death, rape, murder porn, or just out right gore and shock horror. Perhaps a solution would be to always take the time to write an explicit short warning before links leading to death or graphic content? So that people who are not interested in such fetish won't need to click the link to know that it's not to their taste. Like what deadly sunburn already does.

That does help help, but my main gripe is that it seems the only thing that comes out of pixiv is just the same thing over and over, like look at the past 10-15 posts almost 90% of them are just murder porn/etc

Indeed at first I was pointing out that the link leads to unwanted contents, but with Pixiv , as you correctly exposed, this it is a standing, ever-returning trend and at some point I gave up

Well said indeed and you are not ranting at all. It drags our tiny fetish into an abyss. Mainstream media all the way please. I don't go on DA for the same reason.

I know it's difficult not to share, but I've always argued that DA and Pixiv stuff is different, more extreme and seemingly hiding far more serious content.

It is hard to see what the solution can be unless we ban sites like DA and Pixiv. It continues to be a divisive issue.

Yes indeed, though in all honesty I don't think we can change that situation - only avoid the stuff we don't like. Sadly...

On the other hand, I personally don't think that fully banning sites like DA and Pixiv would be a solution - mostly because they also provide scenes that aren't more graphic than the ones found in mainstream medias, and don't have some of mainsteam medias' shortcomings, such as leaving a good chunk of the scene off-screen. (Personally, I feel just as uncomfortable in front of a lethal scene from a mainstream madia as in front of one from another source, but we're entering another debate here. ) I'd say the problem is more about proportions, and I don't think there'll be an easy clear-cut solution. I could say a solution would be to write what explicit content shouldn't be featured (or at least shouldn't be featured without a clear warning), but that kind of list is often open to interpretation and that's a problem...

It's true that the goal is also to not give moderators a additional workload.

I too do not like the fact most of the content on Pixiv involves not only death but often extreme violence.

I am generally not a fan of death but can, to a limited degree, appreciate it to some degree (keeping in mind all of this is fantasy and obviously not real). However I find a look on Pixiv very distasteful. It does seem every time I look at something on Pixiv if devolves into dreadful violence. However, unless I am paying the artist to create something, it is up to them what to create.

I really don't think we should stop linking to DA and Pixiv. Warnings are good but overall if you don't like where the story is going just stop looking.

Now I've been very "distracted" these past few weeks, hence why I've been somewhat quiet and fairly slow on things, but please allow me to quickly explain as to why the murder scene is wrong.

My short answer is NO. I do not like death in my USB scenes as I am not into necrophilia at all......

But my long answer is still NO but has more depth.....For you see, without going to deep into my life as a whole, I used to work as an undertaker for the coroners, so I have seen first hand exactly what the human body does when it dies and let me tell you. It is NOT nice......Everything "releases" and pending of how the individual died, sometimes the body goes through a "purging" stage (look it up, as I'm not explaining it here) and that is horrible to see, horrible to hear and absolutely horrible to smell.......It is disgusting.......Now I know I'm being a bit graphic here and painting a bit of a gross image, but this is to highlight the fact that death is NOT attractive in any form.

That's my view on it.

As a person who's led a "interesting" life, I've seen plenty of violence and my share of death & dead bodies.
At the end of the day, I've become desensitized by this type of thing.
I like all sorts of movies, TV shows, comic books & music.
Sometimes I enjoy explicit amounts of violence & blood in my Horror films.
However I do not get "Turned On" what so ever, by stories involving women being murdered in any manor. I don't get a "thrill" from seeing women being raped before or after death.
In the 80's, my mother lived in New York. She was kidnapped & held prisoner for a weekend by a couple of assholes. Over the two days, they took turns gang raping her.
So, I have no love for this type of violence toward women.
I was sexually assaulted a young boy. This damaged me beyond belief. I will be the first one to admit I'm a Sexual Deviant do to this trauma. I'm not proud of it, I'm just comfortable with it now that I'm middle-aged.
With that said--with all my "odd" "Hang Ups", I don't enjoy women being raped.
Why do these subjects have to be intertwined with a lot of USB type stories?
I just don't see the point of seeing a woman being killed, then focusing on her "Necro" peeing. A woman taking a piss alive or dead, doesn't seem too exciting to me.
