One practical suggestion is to make the board private:

1. People are forced to log on, so you know who has seen what.

2. People are forced to post if they want something, not just browse.

3. It helps to get rid of the dead wood. If 356 members haven't replied, then they are not or have never been members, just lurkers. Get rid as they have been asked a question and have refused their primary duty.

Pathetic is the word that comes to mind.

Maximum support to the admin and owners. For the second time from me alone, anybody else have an opinion?

Mr. Peakyblinder, long time friend, the issue didn't come from guests... not from anonymous lurkers... not from pathetic creatures acting in the shadows

the issue comes from some ( I don't know how many, but at least three ) brilliant, active members, important contributors...some gone from many years, but still remembered

that's why I am losing my mind looking for a solution.

Then in that case, old friend. These members need to do the honourable thing i.e admit their wrong doing to the owners and then resign from the group.

But, again, no response except from the same people who always respond.

Thanks for your comments MPB,

Guests can no longer see most of this forum apart from General Discussion & Commercial Producers

ES, I have to agree with you, I have a good idea of whome we are talking about but perhaps we should skirt the issue and call these people out for a response.

They reeally are going to do immeasarable damage to this community. We have already shelved another 4 girl production, we most likely wont do any more, we certainly wont shoot any more going forwards for the foreseeable futre. Check out redrunners DA page for an insight int what 'was' in the pipeline. What you see coming out on our site now was filmed some time ago. The Ambassadors Wife, which went live today, was filmed in November, it was part of a huge production day with a significant amount of planning and preparation but there is little to incentive to produce stuff like this, at least for a membership site, if it's likely to be shared down the line. Stuff like this will now have to be exclusive custom content and only available on coded streaming...possibly...who knows.

The good thing is we also have people on our side, like KI5* who do contact us when they see stuff, even if in private to me via PM or email and that is massively appreciated.

I would like to see more here in this community fighting to keep this forum and micro niche alive..though perhaps there are not that many willing to do so?

I'd just like to add to what John has said. The comment "shelved another 4 girl shoot" does not apply only to the plotline that I have revealed. There was a second, fully completed police based storyline ready to go with it and a couple more in development as "reserves" - the latter to be shot if time was available.

And of course John has referred to the logistics of these shoots. There is literally a huge amount of work to do to get the costumes and sets together ready for a date - not to mention sorting out and booking suitable models / actresses. It also usually takes an extra day or so just to prepare the studio - which is something not required for the 'simpler' stuff.

The truth is that planning for the sets that have gone live recently (Night Night Nurse and The Ambassador's Wife) actually started before Christmas 2016, in fact about two weeks after the completion of shooting The Medusa Affair. And as John has said these were shot in late 2017 -coincidentally when planning for the latest (now cancelled) plots was begun.

Unfortunately the fans of the uniform stealing genre have and are going to miss out on any further plots thanks to the file sharers. Maybe they can coerce another producer into creating content for them to steal, who knows. After all, I see that they have also stolen and shared AR Tistes /Star Nine's "The spy with my face" which I think someone mentioned in this board somewhere.

As Redrunner and I believe john know along with ES I've been experiencing computer problems and login to here for weeks has been a no no however now I can long in thanks to them I will stand up as a long term member and be counted and say how unhappy and bitterly disappointed with those who have abused our host hospitality by crapping over him and the work he has produced at great personal cost and that so many of us may now be deprived of as a consequence in the short term the future is dim in regards to DIP and we should be grateful that he had even given us a stay of execution. I do hope those who are responsible are either already barred or will do the honourable thing and go behind the tent with their pistol and bite the bullet although give their behaviour thus far that seems unlikely. I know I can be vocal for the wrong reasons but on this one John has my full support in whatever he decides.

When a forum such as this hides certain sections from public view, it gives the impression that all the "good stuff" is behind closed doors. You've made the site look like it has pirated content available to view for those who register. Would you care to take a guess who is going to be signing up after you’ve made the board private? It’s mostly going to be people who are expecting to find pirated content. They will put in the extra effort to register while the vast majority of casual users simply won’t bother.

I been wanting to add to this discussion/problem thread for a while but realise there is nothing I can honestly do to help such a dire situation.
This has been a growing problem for so many adult content creators since the mid 2000s where social media streaming sites really took off. One of the biggest drawbacks of the digital age.
It eliminated one form of piracy from back in the VHS and DVD era where people would profit from selling bootleg copies of films/porn movies etc but its now been replaced with and even greater threat to content creators.

The biggest problem I see is the actual people responsible for making these stream sites and providing an easy platform for the scumbags to go throwing peoples content about. Why are these people not held accountable? These sites are specifically named and intended for adult content.
They will most likely claim they cant be held responsible for other people uploading copyrighted material to their site.....but what the heck was the purpose for making the site in the first place? Adult content creators are sure not going to go and throw all their own content up there.

There is something else I have been wanting to touch on in regards to producers experiencing a downturn in financial profit.....not to try and downplay that piracy has certainly been a substantial factor in this....but are there also other factors at play here?

One model who I watch on youtube, Stacy Burke....I never actually watch her adult content but find her very insightful and often funny (in a good way) on her youtube vlogs. She's quite the veteran in the fetish modelling industry.
In the past she has talked about how fetish modelling is nowhere near as lucrative as it was in the 90s. If I remember correctly.....she said models in her part of the world today are making about 1/3 for each shoot for what they would have earned back in the 90s.

During the mid 2000s when this whole Section 2257 stuff really started to kick in, I remember reading posts in old bondage forums that both models and producers had been lowering their rates dramatically.
I also recall Stacy talking about how models who do custom work often experience a decline in demand in things like bondage once they have done a certain amount of content.

Going to that "formulaic and repetitive" comment that a DA user called daleksupreme said about one of Johns sites.....which is something to be totally expected on a fetish site that focuses on 1 specific type of element....it does seem from my perspective that it is ultimately a futile struggle to keep 1 single person interested in something for a long period of time.

Is it possible that a lot of people who were active members of the USB and desperately looking for content all those years ago have simply become burned out? Like the fetish has lost its appeal? DiP has worked so hard for so long at making uniform steal content.....it could have possibly caused the "over-saturation" effect that's not only made some members lose interest......but also put off people who were looking for different types of bondage content.

Bondage itself is a pretty niche thing....uniform stealing even considerably more so. Fans of the latter may have felt like they have seen all there really is to see. Or maybe they have just evolved onto other fetishes.

From my own personal experience.....I have an absolute buck load of adult content spanning back to 2000. About 95% of it I have not watched in years. My tastes have changed multiple times. There was a time I used to love watching low budget erotic thrillers, then striptease videos, then bondage.....in fact there was a time I hated female on female bondage, used to love the male villain chloroforming out multiple women....then about 10 years ago I discovered uniform stealing which got me into female/female bondage....then I sort of lost interest in the bondage aspect and just liked the female knocking out another female and stripping her down.....it just constantly changes.

In the last year I have funded 2 adult custom videos by another producer.....neither had anything to do with uniform stealing or bondage. I feel like I'm way over-spoilt with those things.

Anyway....sorry for the rant....I'm just trying to think of and understand all aspects of what might have been a contributing factor to the current misfortunes many producers are experiencing in recent year.

Some interesting points raised.
6B4D45 - Yes you could say it looks like the "good stuff" is inside the forum, which of course it is. A lot of the members and their friends spend a lot of their time and effort producing artwork and stories relevant to our likes which we can all enjoy. Others find comic and film clips along similar lines. I take your point that people may join looking for pirated work, but they will be disappointed. There have been calls to make the board private for a while and John has now taken this step - presumably to see if it has any effect. At this stage it is hard to judge.

Void99. It is true that tastes change and develop over time. The question of over production and hence reduction of steal content had already been considered due to the somewhat puzzling decline recently of what has always been a buoyant market. However I do know that the decline in sign ups has been beyond what would be normally expected and hence the content sharing that has recently come to light is believed to have had some impact. It was actually suspected that this was occurring. To be fair to daleksupreme, he was actually referring to another site and it's content. I believe that he his a fan of Demurefun's rather off the wall plots which are in fact custom shoots for a particular client. I did notice that there have been fewer lately and I think that's what his comments related to.

Yes the content sharing sites are to blame and they do turn a blind eye as you say. The scale of so called "sharing" at those sites is unbelievable - it's on an industrial scale. The question of 2257 compliance is also interesting as it applies to the file sharers themselves. I have pointed out that in uploading the content they themselves actually declare that THEY are 2257 compliant AND that they hold the appropriate records. Of course as any true producer will tell you non-compliance and false declaration carry VERY stiff penalties. I don't think the sites will come running to their assistance if they find themselves in difficulty.

Regarding the impact of 2257 on producers, I think that the effects have now been fully absorbed by the industry and compliance documentation and requirements are understood. I'm not sure that the model wages etc have dropped significantly due to 2257 in the UK, maybe it's different for the US. Of course there's always the general economy that plays a factor as well.

Whatever the real reason for the decline is, one factor will no longer apply - that of over production - certainly not in the case of DiP at any rate.
