I always really enjoyed this scene. First off, the Debbie the waitress is really cute. I also love the way Sydney apologies to her as she lays there unconscious.

The one thing about the scene however is that while Sydney is supposed to be the hero she is certainly very rough on poor Debbie who is just basically and innocent bystander. Despite this, Sydney elbows her pretty hard in the face. Poor Debbie is going to have a pretty sore face when she wakes up and maybe even have some injury.

I was always surprised that they didn't have Sydney knock her out in some other fashion.

Yeah, I kind of think a sleeper hold would have been a better option than chin checking the waitress like a professional wrestler. If I had been directing the scene I would have had Sydney chloroform the waitress, and possible had the victim wear a mini-skirt instead of pants, but that's just me  BTW I posted this video on youtube way back when, and if you go to the screwfly channel you can see the other vid caps I made.

I know your youtube channel well! And love going back and looking at it.

I know you have the very cool scene from Rip it Off/Beyond the City Limits. I love the stun gun scene where they take out the two casino employees in the locker room. The one disappointment in scene is you don't get a good look at the redhead. She looks like she is pretty hot but you never get a good look.

I have never been able to see the entire movie. Do you happen to know what job position the two women the take out were supposed to have?

The two female casino employees who got stun-gunned and replaced worked in "soft count" I believe. "soft count" is a casino term for workers in the vault area where the money generated from gambling is counted and stored. While all cloth stealing scenes leave something to be desired the scene from "Rip It Off" especial seems pretty disappointing because of all the potential it had. Then again it looks like a fairly cheap film to begin with. I would have liked to see bigger, and more modern changing room. The stun gun knock wasn't too bad, but the half-assed bondage part looked fairly stupid and amateurish. It would have been nice to have a high shot of the baddies dragging the victims into the toilet stalls, and a scene where the bad girls actually have to strip the girls they're replacing would have been cool too.

yes, a great scene but a little rough and cold on the waitress. iirc this was the penultimate episode and i felt like the writers were kind of screwing with the audience by having the main character act in an uncharacteristically brutal and cynical way. Certainly the ironic way in which she delivers the apology suggests this. on a different note, i was always annoyed that the actress playing Debbie wasnt listed in the credits. hopefully she went on to play some luckier people ;)

I definitely wish they had credited "Debbie" in the episode. I think she is really cute.

My guess is she was a stuntwomen as she really didn't have any lines. However, even with my best efforts I have been unable to find out who played poor unfortunate Debbie.

looking at the way she takes the fall it does seem plausible that she is a stuntwoman. i suppose it is normal for non-speaking roles to be un-credited. pity, tho.

I wonder if she knows that she has become one of the stars of our strange little community. :D

I love the scene where Sydney apologetically takes off the uniform Debbie is wearing, but I also love the scene after that where Sydney, wearing a waitress uniform, is questioned by the manager. It's hilarious that she's playing the acquaintance while hurriedly pointing to Debbie's name tag, but it makes sense considering she's KO'd poor Debbie. :D  I would have liked to see Debbie in her underwear.

True. But at least we get that quick shot of Debbie's feet and bare legs, implying that Sydney literally just stripped Debbie off, then just left her in the middle of the kitchen for all to see.
