This is a fun little colour sketch, based on some of the comments for my previous painting, the panty thief! (As well as the contest between Legloas and Gimli at Helm's Deep!)
In this version two elves complete to collect the greater share of panties, from a company of hapless human red-guards. Young Elves collect these thirty such trophies as part of an initiation ritual, to become full fledged warriors of their clans. Once complete, a sash made from the stollen under-garments, and is proudly worn by the warrior as a token of her skill and bravery. A red-gaurd company has eighty soldiers in it, so the race will be on to find the remaining six pairs of underpants! (and claim the honour of bed-in-class).
This image was based on an art trade I did with s-c-y-k-e, and both the elf and human characters are based on his painting, the dualist!
