Something old, Something new ....

Some of you will be familiar with the saying "Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue". Remember that a while ago I told you that I was working on several costumes for use this year. Well, the first one to be completed has been given a 'trial run' at a few of the sites - including Damsels in Peril.
Referring to the saying
,
The something old is the 1960's styling of the costume, which includes a genuine period cap.
The something new is the skirt, shirt and tie - all brand new items.
The something borrowed is the handbag and shoes which came from existing stock.
The something blue is - The girl in Blue - a Policewoman !
I hope you like the uniform. A lot of effort went into acquiring just the right (genuine) items to complete it. By sheer chance and good luck the uniform proved to be ideally sized for the model on the day (Hannah Zebedee). Personally, I'm over the moon as I think she really looks the part - I couldn't have hoped to get a better model for the first try-out.
I would really appreciate any feedback on this uniform, as always constructive criticism and suggestions for improvements are very welcome.
Cheers
